I am necroing this thread due to the fact that the spam of aetherspace is a severe inhibitor to communication. I highly recommend everyone make a comm window script for use when flying. I am using a slightly modified version of the one Gregori posted - it works wonderfully.

Meh! I run a tight ship. If anyone's on a ship I'm piloting, I'll make them use SHIPT. If they're not locked in, they don't have anything useful to say.

You can't grid join them until the ship launches, but I guess the spam won't be a problem either until then, so whatever

I guess I just like having all my communication in the same window.
