He's a human using rapiers, Elryn. I do only 200 damage per swing against a Guardian or Mage with my rapiers as well.

So its a poor choice of weapon?

It seems to me the damage range is way too wide.

The range on everything is too wide. You either do crap damage or massive damage, it seems, can't tank anything or can shrug off 20 guards. The extremes really need to come down a bit.

Extremes can be kind of good. I'd hate to see us all as carbon copies.

Carbon copies are bad. Not being able to balance anything because you either slaughter mages or can't dent knights is also bad.

You're not supposed to dent knights as you say. First you, afflict them to Nil while hindering, then.. you smash them to bits.

I didn't mean me, I meant warriors. If you're balance so Mages have a reasonable chance a goodly portion of the time, you won't touch warriors. If you're fine against warriors, you splatter us.

There should be a major difference between 50 damage rapiers and 180+ broads. In the case of the rapiers, it's just a willing trade for speed, wounding, or both.
