Makes me wish I were a Guardian or Wiccan. I would enjoy figuring out what skill does what effect during what time. I spend a lot of time just playing around with my skill-sets testing them on myself to see what happens. Astrology looks like something that would bring me enjoyment for a good while.

Uh, back on topic. The benefits I've seen from Astrology seems rediculous, Revan was taking 60 damage from an obesefessor. Also imagine if an Elfen Moondancer with 17 base intelligence, +5 from Astrology, get +2 from Knowledge... 24 Intelligence moonburst? blink.gif

I don't think you can get +5, actually. +3 seems to be the max, given that I gave a +2 to Narsrim, and +1s have been seen, as have +3s, and there's only three states.

And that can last any amount of time from like 10 minutes to two hours. It might be awesome, but it's also really random. A lot of the time things barely get affected.

I think the bonuses to stats are percentage based. So Imperial Merians would get more experience from Dolphin than other races. Someone test with a faeling and Antlers, see what the bonuses are like.

Woah, seriously? Sweet. I wondered what that % bit was about. I don't think it'll matter though, since it's only like 5%...they still wouldn't have gotten 5. :/ Are you SURE you can get 5?

No, I was guessing on that. I'm guessing on the stats being percent based too. But even a 5% bump, from 25% to 30%, would be enough to give a mugwump (base int 15) 4 bonus int points, or 5 for a High Elven or Imperial Merian.

But it only goes 5%, 10%, 15%. huh.gif So I'm fairly sure it's not racial, because that wouldn't give Narsrim an extra +2 DEX with a 10% sign effect.

EDIT: No it doesn't, it goes up to 20%.

The % is how strong the sign is. the number and nature of the aspects at the time determine the effects.

I doubt it's a coincidence that the proximity of the signs used to the sun sign currently in ascension gave very high boosts they gave compared to when further sun signs were used.

The sun plays a part in it, but so do all the other planets. A sphere achieves maximum power when all the planets are in conjunction with the sign. A Grand Cruz.

That's not true. The other signs affect its mana cost, willpower, endurance, power costs, and duration. And uh, there's one random factor too.

It affects the other things. That's how someone was able to get a +3INT with dolphin, because Paraxi lucked out.

Do any of the abilities in Astrology use nexus-specific power? For instance, if a Moondancer uses the skill, will they need Mother Tree power or will any general power suffice?

Astroglide requires you being linked to a Nexus of any description, that's it.

EDIT: But you do get bonuses four months of the year, a different bonus each month, and that bonus varies depending on your nexus.

Don't know about the nexus, but as a novice I saw a skill that said, Glomdoring is spider, so when the sun is in spider you'll get a bonus.
