Bela Fleck is insane.

Mine would be 'Kill the Rhythmn' by Gallows.

I think this would probably fit someone. I dunno. Maybe Forren or all of Celest? confused.gif

Malicia: 'Cold Hard Bitch' by Jet hide.gif

Seriously though, I find songs more appropriate for moods than to 'describe' a character. Like...

When fighting a losing battle: 'Gangsters Paradise' by Coolio
When feeling bloodthirsty: 'Not Falling' by Mudvayne

You Talk Too Much, by Run DMC.

I don't say much, and it's cause I hear something like this in my head all the time.

For lyco in general

A Gentleman's Sport by Every time I die
Jack2007-12-27 07:26:48
Daevos' themesong, of course, is Sympathy for the Devil. Stones version. Since Guns "'n'" Roses suck.

Amaru's is Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. guess why

Any guildhopper = The Seeker by the Who.

Mine's I Love To Boogie by T-Rex, because I do, indeed, love to boogie on a saturday night.
Munsia2008-01-14 07:37:43
Munsia's new theme
Opeth - Ghost Of Perdition

Mainly for

"In time the hissing of her sanity
Faded out her voice and soiled her name
And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why would we really need to live?
Decide what is clear and what's within a haze
What you should take and what to give"

*bump*

DragonForce - Soldiers of the Wasteland

Though, I think I'd call that the Ur'Guard theme

'The Devil Went down to Georgia?'

Because.. I like it. And there are fiddles, which... well, we don't have in Lusternia... huh.gif

Then Fain bowed his head
because he knew that he'd been beat.
And he laid that golden violin
on the ground at Linaeve's feet.
Linaeve said, "Fain, just come on back
if you ever want to try again.
'Cause I told you once, you son of a gun,
I'm the best that's ever been."

Bad Seed- Life of Agony (off of the first album River Runs Red)

Or maybe I'm just the bad seed
Of the family
I get my sleep without tear stained sheets
And I never go crying for sympathy.

Or maybe my minds decieving me,
But I think you took the easy way out
You left me standing there empty handed
As soon as you put that gun in you mouth!
So please don't keep on asking
If there something wrong
Cus you know damn well if I was fine
I would have never even written this song.

Am I to blame if I won't speak her name
If I won't face her grave.

Hee. - there are violins though (which is a fiddle in essence - the fiddling difference is how it is played and the music, not so much the instrument itself aside from a new bridge or the like) - nothing to stop a bard from being creative with how they play it!

While I knew they were at least very similar instruments, I was unaware of if the difference was primarily in style. I've learned something!

Fiddling is the style - set to mimic bagpipes. A fiddle is a violin, though often times fiddlers will change out for a different bridge which makes the sound more throaty.
Gwylifar2008-02-05 16:44:40
I think "fiddle" is even the older, more medieval-appropriate term for it too.
