For those not looking for Pop Songs, I'd suggest looking for Soundtracks written by Hans Zimmer. The Last Samurai, Gladiator, and others are verry well done, and it's doesn't sound as "soft" as regular classical or John Williams.

It was Skyla's suggestion but the Metallica version of Last Caress/Green Hell fits Magnagora pretty well.
