Although actually that kind of happened to me ^^;. I met some guy I knew from my website and talked to a lot for a couple years (not like, met him as in like, we liked each other, just as friends). He was a lot shorter and higher-pitched voice than I imagined. He came in to the place where I worked so we only talked for a little. I also looked like hell because I was hungover and hadn't showered, so yeah. All in all it was kind of a disaster and we didn't talk for a while . We're cool now though.

That IS being nice. Mean would have gone along with the game and let him think you thought he was attractive.

Not really. I'm sadistic. I don't like letting people live lies, just because it makes them feel better.

If you guys lasted this long, you're set. My husband and I had only seen eachother for one week out of a year at one point (damn Navy) and we're wonderful. Eventually it got to the point where he said, "Get your butt over here an marry me."

I remember when Lyv and Nikua (Mary and Josh) got married - Lyv comes on msn and says, look at my new name! It was soon - to -be - mrs - ******* or something like that, then it was just Mrs *******

On the other hand, I remember when the guy I'm going to meet (soon as all the saving's done, I'm crazily flying to America ) met his ex-wife, married her, and they divorced. It was nasty, she was quite a piece of work. (Problems on both sides, don't get me wrong)

And then there was another who met and married an Achaean he'd known. Turned out she was long-distance dating another guy and had only married him because of the benefits she'd get while she was in the Air Force and being married.

There are horror stories, there are love stories. Just don't be silly like me and fly to another country where you can't pretend you're not you. And webcams are definitely worth the investment.
