Viravain is probably a kickass staff member, but IC'ly, the only thing my misinformed eye sees is people getting extremely frustrated over her, one after the other leaving Glomdoring.

I don't know about you, but I'm quite used to not getting everything exactly the way I want it.

Viravain is the divine who I've had the most fun with IC. And that includes killing me multiple times, it's certainly not like I was a fan of her in character. Are people getting frustrated ICly with her because she is being cruel without reason, or do they want to do things differently to how she created Glomdoring?

Funny, the Goddess of the Forest without Mercy is being merciless and people are crying about it.

I don't know about the others, but my main problem is the direction she took Glomdoring in in terms of roleplaying. Every scrap of previous roleplay done with the forest was thrown out the window. 'omg false memory we r n0t tainted lol!'

I'm just looking at it from an OOC point of view, because I believe roleplay should be used to improve gameplay, if it doesn't, it becomes pointless and damaging.

Jesus, I can't believe this arguement is still going. Even I've gotten over what happened to the Glomdoring.

If you can't, Guido, get a life. Thorgal - then Magnagora needs to seriously start hugging fuzzies and being nice. I don't think Celest's been enjoying things. And Glomdoring's roleplay is making it suck for us Serens. Stop hating us, stop being tainted, stop hurting Fae. God.

Yes, and this is why you've had two sets of characters shrubbed. And were IP banned from both forums and game, for a time. Even Marcalo and Kayde didn't get forum banned.

I can only speak about my experiences with Viravain, but her roleplay allowed Glomdoring to have a measure of dignity in stopping me from raiding. Eventually she gave me a reason not to raid at all (or at least, hardly at all ), so I'd say her role is very much improving the gameplay of Glomdoring players.

This is only what we see, of course. No doubt she has a myriad of other positive interactions with other people that don't get posted onto the forums.

I think they were just afraid I'd start spamming the forums with pictures of Tubgirl and Goatse.

My serious problem here is it's OMG WE DON'T LIKE YOUR ROLEPLAY, STOP IT. For all Guido's innane crap about getting rid of her as a goddess - anyone remember Tanjinn? Yea. Sorry mate. It's Viravain's guild. You're not getting rid of her.

This isn't the purpose of this thread, and the arguments I've heard so far aren't even enough to make me consider what you're saying as anything other than the usual whining, so either take it somewhere else and step up your facts and debating or drop it.

I didnt like the RP of the Moondancers. No one was forcing me to stay. And yeah I fussed and whined IC but I realized I wasnt going to change it so I left.

No one is keeping anyone from leaving. IF they dont like the RP leave.
