Could all novices who speak on their guild novice channel be heard on any plane? Obviously any full guildmember would need the necessary skill in planar to reply, but I think novices should be able to ask for help even if there is no-one else of their guild on the same plane.

I know for undersecs it makes it difficult to do -anything- off-plane, because you are basically turning off GNT.

This couldn't be abused any more than messages already can be.

Actually, they fixed it now so it works depending on the planar levels of people, not just a flat "same plane only." It just doesn't SAY so. If the undersec is on Astral, they're not gonna hear it, but on Ethereal or Elemental they should be able to.

Most novices that need questions answered and a bit of guidance don't have any skill in planar. That's what I meant.

Ah. We teach ours up to rift as a standard. Maybe that's just a guild thing. :/ I guess, though.

How you can play without rift I don't know tongue.gif

But I think they allready fixed this, they just don't tell you what plane your on.

Yes, they fixed it so you could hear them from a different plane.

But you can't hear them from ANY plane, which is what is being suggested.
