I would just like to mention that when a geomancer Melds a forest, the trees still exist, they don't go away, however the ground gets all rocky and different looking.
I.e, Can you even use Spiritbond Rock in a Geomancer Demense, I don't think you can. however you can in tainted mountainside.

No, the trees do not still exist, as I have found to my irritation several times trying to CLIMB UP to escape from Geomancy. When it says wasteland, it MEANS wasteland.
I'm not sure what the point of your bringing spiritbond rock up is, though.

Interesting... can you climb trees in a Aquamancer demense if you don't implant a dryad?

You mean IC (in character), not OOC (out of character). ICly, yes, obviously both see their own speciality as better and wonderful.
The point is, descriptions cannot be custom written for every possible viewpoint in the game. What I am trying to say is that OOC descriptions make it easier for the players to form their own viewpoints and understand what is going on without making for completely nonsensical interactions. ("This water is fetid!" "No, its actually pure elemental water" "But look around, its dirty and fetid!" "Um, its crystal clear... unless you say the sky is dirty and dank?") Rather, isn't it better to have the -players- interpret the world themselves? ("This 'pure' water is disgusting, it doesn't have a trace of power in it." "Keep your filthy taintmagic away from the elemental waters!")

I will go ahead and reiterate -one more time- that I'm not talking about accommodating every city's aspect on -everything-.
A demonic shortsword is a scorched demonic swordsword is a demonic scorched shortsword (yes, x3). No one cares, because it is a sword and only a Celestian would debate its use, not based on its craftsmanship but from their own moral values.
Taint is an element that wars are fougth over. Magnagorans fight and die casting it, and in the case of characters like mine, and spill it on the ground in the form of their blood. The Taint changed the entire basin, mabye for all eternity.
This is something worth having some kind of alteration in perspective at the -most-. I hope you realize that I'm not really pushing for this, having different perspectives on -demesnes-.
Again, I will reiterate for anyone else that somehow missed this (because it is in the title for goodness sakes...)...
AT THE MOST.... I am pushing for having all cities having different perspectives on each demesnes.
The most. If my idea went through this would be the top tier effect, and it is something that I am not counting on.
This is what I'm pushing for, put by Kashim:

That's why I think they should be more neutral (at least geomancers one isn't) and not have any emotional meaning, just state the fact. 'sickens the land' makes no room for interpretations.
