Shiri, what you're talking about there is a wound lock, its dificulty to pull off is similair to keeping someone aeonlocked and sleeped with hexes...its difficult to do to the good healers, but easy enough if someone doesn't heal their legs at all.
Mangle-leg is also a swing, so you have a good chance to miss, plus a good chance if you hit their leg it wont mangle it anyway.
Solution? Get off java and use zmud with a good system, or design one.
Also, your point about 3 combos being permenantly manglelegged is very VERY grossly innacurate, i suggest more testing or looking over some logs

126 wounds per doublecrush, using f.e your weapons, or Icarus' weapons, as we demonstrated. Not likely that you can dodge those.
Stop trying to blame things on JAVA, it's statistical.
EDIT: Er, that sounded stupid, let me clarify. 126 wounds per doublecrush in 3 combos.

you can NEVER hope to compete in high level combat in java, EVER.
Also, why on EARTH would I waste 10 power, to get your leg that low? even at -20 wounds on leg, you can get your legs cured enough to web me and get those deepwounds back up again.
Lets not forget that I can have someone like icarus, or indeed anyone else who has more than 4k health and isn't a mage, woundlocked and not kill them on damage, ever

People have to remember though, that if you're doing massive wounding, you're using rapiers and battlehammers, which rarely ever do more than 150 damage a jab.
