Wasn't a personal attack on Ceres. I just wanted her to STFU.
Gregori2005-07-04 19:52:41
Daganeve just because you were not privy to the meeting, does not mean it didn't happen. Oh wait. To you it does. Guess you were cut out of the loop, but here ya go.
(Serenwilde): Sylphas says, "Shikari wishes to slightly change the offer. Glomdoring wishes only a tainted village, either Acknor or Ankgrag. Also, He says that if this is to proceed further, procedures to deal with those breaking the agreement would have to be codified."

Honestly, how does that prove anything?
Not that things wouldn't get interesting, but that's just silly to think people would believe it just because you pasted some line that's on Serenwilde CT that could've just been made up.
You are also acting quite spiteful, which also makes it hard to believe.

So don't believe it, personally I care less if you do or not. I will still get to enjoy the laughter as Shikari drives a wedge between Mag and Glom.
Daganev2005-07-04 20:04:26
Sounds more like your trying to use the forums to put wedges between people again.
Eiru2005-07-04 20:06:03
Obviously you care, otherwise you wouldn't have wasted your time nor ours trying to convince people, eh?
Like I said, this will be interesting if it does happen, but I think whatever the plans are, they should be kept IG, a surprise would really have been nice.
Lighten up, you need to relax, we're not influencing here.
These are the forums, no need to get a burst vessel over it, have a mage do that to you IG.

Gregori, wasn't it you that said we shouldn't spew IC "secrets" on the boards...? WTF are you doing!?
Xenthos2005-07-04 20:11:21
It's pretty obvious what he's doing.
Gregori2005-07-04 20:13:45
It was already said on the forum if you read the thread. As for what I am doing, showing that Daganev once again has no clue what he speaks of is what I am doing.

I think this deal is great from an OOC perspective. Peace in exchange for a nice big iron spike driven between Magnagora and Glomdoring? I'll take it!
From an IC standpoint, Selthar would appreciate the added business from Glomdoring that peacetime would bring.

Thorgal2005-07-04 20:21:17
Uh, whatever Gregori might think, Glomdoring isn't going to war with Magnagora over Acknor or Angkrag.
Sylphas2005-07-04 20:46:43
Don't then. Treaty holds as long as we don't interfere. Never says you have to want them. *shrug*
Pretty much, unless I'm missing something huge, it looks like Shikari is trying to get pressure off of Glom, and not look desperate in the process.

Close, but not quite.
Considerably large numbers of people have complained that the level of conflict is too high in the game - this provides a roleplayable reason to tone it down, just a little bit.
Syrienne2005-07-04 23:36:35
Why does it matter what Shikari is doing IC here on the forums.. hes a Divine, he plays tricks, he tries to manipulate things and work for the interest of the commune. Its his JOB to look out for us if he can, thats what all Divine do when time is needed. No one comes here spouting off about how Hajamin is planning something, or how Lisaera said this in private.. why is it being done here. You people who whine about MORE RP LESS CONFLICT OMG MORE RP MORE RP are doing same thing here by plastering an IC alliance lal over the forums and discussions detials of a secret meeting. Good job, really.
Unknown2005-07-05 00:12:47
The meeting was secret?
Hmnm. I know about it IC.
Meh.
Down with RP!..I mean conflict.

I believe what Syrienne means, is that if Lisaera or Hajamin or Fain say something over the community channel in public about an agreement or some sort, people don't run here posting about it.
Syrienne, I believe the reason that is true is because some people have a real life hatred for the concept of glomdoring and want it to fail no matter what so they can say "told you so"

People post about what Divine's do all the time, it's no big surprise. As much as I'd like to see a lot of this stuff stay in the game....meh...whatcha gonna do?
Stop the petty bickering, it really is silly. Carry on in character all you want but I know personally I would rather see Glomdoring suceed than fail, and I would think most others would tend to agree.

Daganev2005-07-05 00:40:30
Really?
It took Estarra making a comment about Merloch's no demon policy to find out which divine (if any) were involved with that thing... and I still can't tell anying about Lisaera or Hajamin based on posts made about them here, except for posts made by themselves.

Anyone who knows basically anything about Serenwilde is aware of this because not only is it a public referendum here but there's even hints about it on the freaking public board. MAN people can be paranoid sometimes.
