happy.gif thanks.

I didn't really have a figured roleplay when I wasn't shrubbed. I was just a mindless bashing machine, bash bash bash then offer. It was cool cause I'd almost always have a Fain highfavour on me for offering biggrin.gif. Which made it so I could bash more. Which made it so I could offer more. Which gave me more favours...etc etc etc.

I couldn't help out in anything cause I'd just die to my own team's Contagion, so I only fought when someone on CT DEMANDED that everyone go help. Which was actually quite a lot tongue.gif.

I'm going to say that Murphy and Ialie seem to stick true to their RP. Murphy is one of my favorite people in the game, especially when he calls people "princess".

I'd love input on how everyone thinks I'm doing. Where to start...

Richter is... odd. He can't remember his past, so he tries to create his own empire in the present. He also somewhat thinks that he doesn't -want- to remember what he was before, so he submerges himself in work so that he doesn't think about it. He's jovial around friends, nasty around enemies, possessed by an evil 600 year old ancestor (Draest, for the few that know), so I tend to flip out every once in a while, for no reason. He knows he's terrible at fighting, and it gets to him, because he's the GA of a warrior guild, so he tries to emulate both Shikari and Murphy (being overloaded with weapons for the first, and starting recently to crack down on people like Murphy {This ain't no ice cream social!}). He's also shady, manipulative, uses people when it suits him, but doesn't let them know, will lie and cheat with a smile on his face, and would sell an ice cube to an eskimo.

Characters to compare to: 50% Jaraxle, the rogue drow from R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books, 25% Drizzt Do'Urden from the same series, 25% Raistlin Majere, from Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman's Dragonlance "Chronicles" trilogy.
Daganev2005-06-29 16:16:36
I have Daganev set up based more on his past than any hard set personality traits... that said, I have 3 main features of Daganev.

1. He favours Wisdom over intelegence, to the point where he is insulted by the concept of inteligence.

2. Action is more important than talking, it doesn't matter what you say it matters what you do.

3. The Masqurade.
Laysus2005-06-29 16:26:45
Laysus is... kinda hard to describe.

He's a dedicated follower of mother moon, fanatical, you could say. Although he has desire for more power than he has, he's also usually fairly good at stopping himself before he messes up. He likes to seperate his work as a secretary from his personal life, staying always trying to keep a rather detached, objective view when doing secretary stuff, which helps when he has guildmembers screaming at him for voicing other people's complaints, or gets GDF'd wrongly for doing his job (yes, you know who you are *coughmarinacough*).

When he's not doing his job, he bounces around all sorts of emotions. Usually one of the extremes. Although the standard (tries) to be happy/hyper. He has a liking for causing mischief and trouble, too. Sometimes more than is neccessary healthy, (like flirting with Amaru's daughter *snicker*) and if he sees a way to make something go catastrophically wrong for someone, but with amusing consequences, he'll usually be very intersested in it. Likewise with ways to screw his enemies completely, in a new and unusual way.

Yeah, there's probably more, but this is the best I can do for now.

bah laysus, you are a lusternian hugh grant and i cannot see you in any other way!

And richter, crack down on those lovebunnies, you can always call your brother over to lay it on hard if need be. The mere sight of my divine flails is enough to scare the snuggles out of them

Believe me, I will. I called someone princess the other day, among other things, and I kept getting tells of people laughing insanely.

And people say I love -my- weapon too much. Must be a family thing. happy.gif
Malicia2005-06-29 16:57:44
Malicia - Loyal. Extremely loyal and selfless. Will do anything for anyone. She gets a bit overwhelmed with requests but is patient for the most part, rarely losing her temper. She loves the Serenguard and Serenwilde.. is slightly aggressive and passionate about the things she believes in. She's -crazy- about Amaru. smile.gif Will die for her family, her people without hesitation and so on and so forth. She's a leader and seeks the trust of others. Her rp is pro-Serenguard-forest. She's pretty intolerant of the tainted.

I've seen a good bit of that so far from you, though I'm not around you as much as I am some people.

Hrm, you -are- tolerant of me though. biggrin.gif I thought I was pro-taint. *twiddle*
Vesar2005-06-29 17:10:57
I just remembered something about Vesar. When I created him, the Aquamancers was my 2nd choice, behind the Aeromancers. But, seeing how Hallifax is locked in time, I had to settle. But, eventually I want Vesar to more over to the Air side of the house, and to do this, he's going to be changing slowly. I'm still coming up with ideas, but if anyone has ideas of how to RP a change into Lucidian and moving into the "logical" mindset, PM me.

ROFL... Nice.. wish I had thought of that.
Malicia2005-06-29 17:29:19
Alger is pretty nice icly. Humble even. You simply can not get him to admit that he's one of the best warriors in the Ur'guard, although he knows it. wink.gif

He's been a meanie to Malicia though.

Contrary to what some may think I do not purposely try to RP Cronnacht as an ass.

I do try to RP him as a priest whose faith is starting to break and as a result over compensates for his own inadequacies. On a personal level he tries be friendly, kind, jovial and has a preference for the simple things in life. He likes to dance, sing, and only wears plain clothes and jewelery. He will chat up almost anyone and likes to tell and hear a good tall tale once in a while.

In the larger scheme of things he finds his personal feelings and traits often come into conflict with what is 'right'. His guilt for having inner reservations about his faith drives him to be even more fanatical. He sometimes becomes forceful, even vicious, in his zealotry and determination to carry out his duty. The more dogmatic he becomes the more he hates himself until eventually he'll just stop talking to people, get drunk, or doing something to get himself killed.

Finally I try to play Cronnacht as something as an idealist. Every once in a while he'll recapture a bit of his faith and he'll start dreaming again. He has a semi-secret obsession with Raven which is why he worked so hard for the Gloriana and why he hates the taint so much.

I haven't really gotten into my characters. I rolled them up young, so her character could evole through RP.

The frist, Nievea. THis is what I think she will be: She's cool and collected at all times. She is the type that will kill you with kindness. Then, when you least expect it, literally kill with with a poison-tipped blade. She's a hunter by nature and enjoys the dark side of nature.

My other character, who hasn't been rolled up yet. This is my plan for her. She is the dark side of good. Anyone remember those D&D alignments - Choatic Good I think? She's also very young. She outspoken, a little arrogant and a sort of a perfectionist. If you are not fighting on her side then automatically you are the enemy. By being the enemy, you pretty are nothing to her and deserve to be treated as a slave, property, a pet, tortured, whatever she can think. But if you are on her side, she'll break her back to help you in your time of need.

That's oddly like the Celestian Ceres.

I'm like Thorgal, I play Acrune too much like me, although I have been trying to add in other things, like the moderate racism, the actual caring about the light, and caring enough about anything to try to force his opinion on others tongue.gif.

See, you need to go all the way, and hunt the people down who sent you those tells, and snatch their eyeballs out and carry on with your mace etc.

Personally, something like that with me would be met with a swift crucifixion, maybe a pulp if I don't think it will kill them, but i've been mistaken many times before on that though oops.gif

On that note, I love my weapons, I say goodnight to them before I go to sleep at night
