I can just imagine that.
Nejii shouts, "hey guys, I'm logging out now, don't take that village we are half way through influencing, just everyone STOP"
Rest of Basin, "F*$K off shiri"

Heheh. I think the concept she has problems with understanding is that you're not all like "pokemon" who only live inside the computer game and as such exust only on the whim of the power socket.
Murphy2005-07-03 14:32:52
then maybe you need to shout "F@#K off mum, and leave me the hell alone wench!"
Shiri2005-07-03 14:42:19
Sadly, I don't have a computer in my room atm, so that's not an option.

heh, or you could move out of home, then whenevr she sees you, she missed you and you get your laundry done, meals cooked and sent home with a heap of leftovers (yes, 2 years on from moving out and my mother still cooks like I still live there)

My friends introduced me to MUDs, and at first I thought it was the lamest thing on earth. But then it got fun, so I have no problems with friends. My parents don't care as long as I get good marks in school, so that's cool too.
I do stuff outside a lot, and usually whenever someone calls me up for something I'll go. Unless it's fishing. Ughhhhhhhhhhh I hate fishing so much. And shopping (unless there's something specific I want to get, and that's like a 2 minute ordeal anyways).
Most of the time when I'm not socialising or playing sports or whatever I'm on the comp though. I used to just play computer hardcore, till I realised that I was overweight and more frustrated with the games I played than having fun with them (cause I was so serious about it). So I started playing sports, dropped to a normal weight (23.6 on the BMI scale , which is normal weight. Four years ago I'd probably have been like a 32 ) and have a lot more fun with games when I play them now (which is still quite a bit, but I spend about the same amount of time doing athletic stuff as playing games).
Some days of course are an exception. Stiffling hot or freezing cold (or everyone is just busy), then I can go like 13 hours straight on the compy .

I know what you mean about weather, Maedhros. I live in Michigan, so it's always scorching, freezing, or traffic jamming, so I end up staying inside for whole days, just lounging around.

Ouch, that sucks. I live in Ontario (Canada, for those who don't know ), so winter = nothing is possible (unless I wanna pay a load of money to go to a gym for a few hours), cause I don't play hockey and I'm only so-so at skating.
Unknown2005-07-04 02:48:53
hey cool i'm moving to Ontario in the fall (yes i know, completely off topic )
Torak2005-07-04 03:43:04
Heh Ontario isn't that bad if you have a snowmobile, you can always get tanked and do that. Atleast where I lived..Other then that yeah when its 40 below without windchill there isn't a hell of alot to do. I started mudding with a few friends, I am the only one really left now.

Hehe, I introduced you to MUDs in grade 7. Like a week after I was introduced. And since then.. well, we still have sports. We're not -complete- nerds.

i used to live in michigan! near ann arbor, about 15 min north of it, but michigan sucks unless you live in a big city there is really crap to do.
thakin2005-07-04 06:55:50
I've been in SoCal or Vegas all my life. I started Mudding in Vegas because of the damn heat all the time. I just saw an ad for Achaea some where was like sure why not, and loved it.

I usually only play when I have nothing better to do, it's a good way to relax. Really, going out in a sunny afternoon to read some books with a coffee or a beer is healthy and good
After working for 8 hours a day in front of a computer, most often 9 or 10, I really have a hard time thinking on playing anything computer related I guess.
On the other hand, anybody who knows me knows I play computer games of all kinds quite often, but I am into computers, that's what's expected of me
