He is ranked 1st in the havens or something

He is considered to be approximately1000% to your might.
He is a Divine and able to kick your bum any day (instead of the mentor )

Gods should have honours such as their circle of power, their standing, their powers, their might could be insane, 1000% isn't really that high against a small someone... Also they should get honours lines, for RP's they do, making it so they take a more active Role tward the world that mortals can look back and remember. Like Viravain... She'd have a helluva history and honours... Maybe make it so you have to ask the divine to disclose their history to you, thereby making it so they can show you certain things about themselves, bringing the mortals and divine of Lusternia a lil closer togeather rather than making Divines quite so high and mighty... I kinda hate the whole arrogant routine... Though it does work for some of them, it shouldn't for all as it gets old

They are Gods.. Immortal beings older than time, capable of wielding far greater than mortals can comprehend.. And you don't think they should be haughty?

Yudhe, Dynara, etc, they were older than time, acctually, only Yudhe was, Estarra as well, the Elder gods, No

Also, the Vernal gods were around the same power as the Elder gods, maybe a little weaker, and they didn't have the inborn knowledge the Elder gods have, but they did manage to beat off the Soulless whereas the Elder gods never could, running away, or splintering to let the mortal shards of them deal with the soulless.

Thats whats so damn cool about the Divines of Lusternia, They AREN'T completely infallable, allknowing, or completely better than mortals, with the one exception of Estarra. If all of them are going to be haughty tward mortals, its kind of annoying, thats why I liked the idea of the early Viravain, cuz she was completely unique and played the role perfectly... Now she's just another Elder god to me... Shikari's a bit different, he at least gives... dunno if its respect... Something that makes him not come off as always better than all the mortals around him, even though they all know he could whoop em. Which in turn draws all of their mutual respect for him, even if they hate something he stands for, they'll still believe he's respectable and honourable.

Umm... no? Divine are FAR greater than mortals, all of them. Divine are Divine, they wield powers far beyond what a mortal could dream of, and can slay a mortal without blinking. The reason mortals can become Vernal Gods, is because they are infact a splintered version of an Elder God. That ofcourse goes for why they can become Demi-Gods too.

When the Elders decided to splinter, they did so knowing they would give up their allmighty status, but would live for a few thousand more years. Little did they know, the mortals would find away rekindle that Divine spark and become Vernal Gods. There isn't an endless supply of Elder Gods, but Vernal Gods there is and endless supply of them(in theory). That is why Vernal Gods were able to defeat all the Soulless that were left, they could through more mud at the wall in hopes some of it would stick.


Edit: I almost forgot the "older than time" thing. Time is a mortal creation, therefore Elder Gods ARE older than time.

Well, some custom lines in honors would be nice, like circle of power, if it's already known.
But you know, each one of them has his/her own helpfile! Now that's something!

- Circle of Power: I am going to assume you mean the Elder God circles here, in which case this doesn't apply to Vernal Gods.

-Standing: I'm not even entirely sure what you mean by this, but if it is what I think it is, it is extremely subjective.

-Powers: They're a God...

-Honours lines for RP: Players don't get this, why should Gods? Quite apart from that, who is going to assign them? Who is going to decide if the lines are good enough to be included? Do you really want Estarra to divert all her time to watching us RP so she can decide if we get a shiny new honours line?

I think it would indeed be nice if it showed the circle, though, since I can never remember them and they're not listed anywhere. Maybe something like...

Actually, not ALL the Elder Gods have help files. Shikari has no help file.
