I am in Australia, in the most remote capital city in the world (Perth), and I had modem up until a week and a half ago.

I still have dialup, we can't get DSL where we live.

But they can two blocks away. >_<

(The obligatory pedantry about the technical meaning of the word "modem" and its inapplicability to DSL and cable "modems" has been deleted here so that we can bring you the following special report: Chocolate chip cookies are tasty! Tell your friends.)

I have Cogeco cable. But I used to have 56k; how I hated that thing. Lagged everything and would make that WHHHHHHHHHEW EUNG EUNGUE GUENGEUGPSHHHHHDANOPADANOUI sounds when it connected.
