It's based off the channel's speed, so does that mean that substratus (faster balance recovery) will have a faster dagger, or will it be slower?

I wasn't sure if that meant that you needed both stratus to use it, and once one of them was locked you couldn't use it anymore. Which would mean you couldn't animate another dagger.

Sweet. Any suggestions on race? I like Lucidian a lot, but the level 2 fire susceptibility is a big red flag.

Well, being first a Merian, and now an Aslaran, I've always had a fire susceptibility. It is pretty bad but since only Aquamancers actually use a fire attack extensively, you'll rarely fight them.
