After many months of procrastinating I've finally got around to updating my website with all of my TF scripts. When I decided to have Druthalus take a long (permanent?) nap and go back to my main, Razyx, I decided on a complete rewrite. Since I released the updated scripts a few days ago I've received a lot of positive feedback. Thanks go out to everyone who took the time to tip their hat and say thanks!
Many of these scripts will appeal to all players, some however are geared directly at the mage archtype (for those that don't know, Razyx is a Geomancer).
Because Psionics came out and I'm dieing to mess with it, I don't feel like writing my usual novel-like post describing everything. I think the page on my site and the scripts themselves document everything. On the Scripting page you'll be able to view each script in html (syntax highlighted), or download the file in either DOS or UNIX format. In my downloads section you can download sets of the scripts in either format, with all directories in place for logging and channel redirection, as well as a short document outlining how to install them and how my trigger priority structure is setup.
Note: If you're a dreamweaver and interested in the dreamweaving portions of my scripts (some code in alias.tf as well as demesne.tf) I'd recommend downloading copies of what you need within the next few days. Since I dropped dreamweaving and took up psionics, the dreamweaving portions of my code will not appear the next revision (it's already been wiped out from the working copy that I use).

Last but not least...
Edit: added a screenshot.

Can't stress how much I appreciate your work Razyx, even though I'm virtually the only other TF user other than you. (As far as I know). We need to get cooking on some of the Psionics afflictions so the Aquamancers won't kick our posteriors in the next village revolt.
If there are any other TF users out there, make some noise! I'm curious as to see if it is only Razyx and I who are using that amazing client.

I would be a TF user if someone would give me a quick run through on AIM to show me the general syntaxi(es?) I can't make top from bottom on most of the help files...

I have some very basic TF tutorialy stuff up at http://www.cacheboy.net/achaea/ . Take a look, tell me what I'm missing. There really isn't an adequate tinyfugue newbie site out there.

I'm planning on trying to figure out how to use it effectively

Hi I wanted to post his collection in a new thread, but - i can't make new topics (? dont know whats wrong)... so i just post it here.
I have been using his system before on other muds, and started recently to play this one.. and i got a hold of his whole system (before his website crashed) and wanted to post it.. its very out of date, but very useful for TinyFugue..
I'm still learning the game, but this give me a good start =) I hope others can find it useful too.
I was wondering too, if there's any other TF users out there

I use TF when I'm on my desktop, but I have an outdated system Alger gave to me which does not reflect the addition of bards/monks or the changes to cures (like applying melancholic rather than sipping, etc.) I accidentally spam ate 1600 myrtle the other day too.

Does TF run only in command/text style, or does it have a GUI? I'm going to install ubuntu on one of my boxes and want to know if it is plausible to use TF still, and if not, if there is another client out there I could poke around at? Thanks!
Simimi2007-11-09 15:53:22
There is an experimental GUI mod/thing for TF but it is worthless in every sense. The only way to use TF is in the terminal as it was coded to be for the terminal. It works great with Screen (a program to virtually split a terminal into several). You can run Mush under Ubuntu out of the box with Wine/Cedega without any problem. I am currently testing my free plugins on Gutsy as well as other linux distros just for curiosity.

Thank you for bwbettin's collection!
I have been trying to find this for a few months but having no luck contacting him or getting stuff from his web site. I have been limping along by copying snippets from posts in the forums then trying to short-circuit all the code that expects the rest of the system.
I use tinyfugue. It would be nice if your forum profile had a specific field for preferred client. I am going to try and start two new threads, one a tinyfugue user roll call and another a link collection of good topics or external links about tinyfugue because I have a hard time finding stuff here, or finding it the second time like how bwbettin logged. I know I read it once, thought I saved a copy of the idea, and now I find it in the zip posted by Tzu.
