compared to a mage/druid having the WHOLE of their offence minus staffpoint intact?

A demesne is much worse than one arm of a swing, i assure you that.

I wouldn't mind if it was removed entirely, I have knockdown so i'm sweet

I don't think it makes much sense to suggest I know to distill a poison so it'll stick to a blade but I can't figure out how to put it onto the blade when I'm done -- how did I test if I was getting it right? Anyway, I'd say it should stay in Knighthood, and be duplicated in Poisons, then supplemented with an Uberenvenom skill around Mythical in Poisons that does a better job somehow, but I can't think of a good one. "More likely to hit" is the only one that makes sense but they'll never do it. "Double usage" would be nice but you couldn't sell it or you're undercutting yourself.

Why not have something like "Potency" that only Poisonists could do. Make it half the amount of venoms you could put on a weapon, but increase the percentage of landing? Of course, like you said, they might not do it so uhm...

I can't think of anything else terribly worthwhile, but I'll come back if I do.

They ought to just have some poisons that only poisonists can apply (Like that loki type. hide.gif)

A knight using shieldstun is like, halving their offense at first, but then the stun doubles the effectiveness of the half that was left. tongue.gif

I guess I forgot to mention what else I intended to suggest to Shieldstun.

-Strength plays a factor, but not as much as now and there will be a maximum stun time. Around 3 seconds top.
-Shieldstun be changed to an automatic attack to the head, making it possible to parry with a shield or weapon.
-Multiple people Shields stunning will not stack.

They're never going to do that. They don't want poisons to be anything more than a little bonus for warriors, not a primary part of strategy and tactics. Plus I bet it'd be a bitch to code; somewhere there's a data record for my sword and it has to have slots for each poison on it, which is probably why there's a fixed limit; if you also have to track something about each one, where is that going to be stored?

Now that is an interesting idea.

I think the most ridiculous part about envenoming is that Poisonists can't do it as part of their trade. That's just really messed up.
