Crazy Immortals, I'm not actually pushing for these things just visualizing I would love to see more skills added but I know that only half of what you guys planned has been implemented and I just love seeing new things added. Oh and Music would be a cool skill, but I dont think it would make a good tradeskill. I do like the idea of submitting designs and such for art. More people would definitly become artists, and on that line we need a mob for every city to sell art supplies at inflated costs, that way we have a money sink, but it's high enough that people would still want to buy from players.

Specializations could be cool....
Brewery, patsteries, meat, vegetarian dishes, for Cooking
Iron, leather, steel, for Forgers
for herbs you can pick curable plants or alchemy plants (lets you pick 2 of those for every 1, but the plant acts as if you picked one)

ahhh the possiblites...


as for a completely NEW tradeskill... Exterminators...
Sells rat and weevil traps, ability to kill 3 rats in one room, ability to remove rats from a room for 3 days, all sorts of good possiblities!

Ummm... no. I don't think that we need to hamper novices any more then they already are, and 'traps' would what..? allow someone to purcase a trap to rack up lots of weevils themselves, but only once they've got a ton of gold to already purchase the trap? this would effectively end weeviling in all rooms all the time, and would border on botting in at of itself as you just sit there and wait for awhile as your traps catch all the weevils in like a bagillion rooms for you. so no, I think that part has absolutely no merrit to it, as for removing rats/weevils from a single room for 3 days..? dry.gif Why would you want to completely eliminate that form of revenue/exp. that idea has no chance at all of being implimented, ever.

I think Tenqual sumed this all up saying that we don't need more tradeskills and we wouldn't be able to support them either, I have a hard enough time finding an alchemist for refills as is, it took me 3 months to find one the last time i ran out, and i'm sure that it that isn't based merely in one part of the playbase, do you really want our tradeskill-people to be further diluted into other skills at this time? No i think we can wait on this.

Tradeskill specializations would be AWESOME. I'd love to see alchemists able to do sugar, salt, health, mana, bromide, and then specialize in either small stat boosts or effects (shroud, +1 dex, +100 max mana, etc), or in the curatives we can do now.
