I don't focus on the negative details - I know quite well what G8 was about, what it was for, what went on, what's been going on, all of that amusing and entertaining things.  But I'm at work, and the first thing I pick up, where generally the topic of the article is, are lines about how Bush is further destroying our environment.  Do you care if your child grows up to have severe asthma and lung cancer from the various pollutants in the air?

I won't go so low as to say you obviously don't - because I'm sure you do.  No self-respecting parent wouldn't.  But, in all honesty, we're also talking about the summit were other countries were donating a much higher percentage in relation to their GDP, than we are.  Much, much more.  Of course, you probably think they're leftists and knee-jerkers and biggots and whatever other slander you seem so keen on nailing to anything leftward leaning, just as I slam anything I view as too far to the right.

Funny... A bunch of Concerts around the country just doubled the amount of efforts given to Africa and you focus on the fact that not enough was done, and that somehow a debate in factial details is the same thing as Destroying the world. Your right, no focus on the negetive. Maybe you should start looking at the possitive things in life once in a while instead of spreading fear that the world is comming to an end.

The world has been comming to an end for the past 30 years allready, I just can't Wait, the suspence is killing me!

I havn't seen any clear indication that a Republican or Democratic government affects the economy all that much.  I have however seen the affects that an overly liberal system has on a place such as California.

Sectors that have little government regulation seem to strive and grow, and sectors that have TONS of government regulation appear to be getting worse every year with littel signs of improvement in the future.

Again, the philosphy appears to be to cut off 10,000 fingers inorder to heal one pinky.
Just take a simple look at the language used by "liberals" to describe George Bush and Red State Americans, and tell me its not biggoted?

Let's look at the Republicans? How, when anyone says anything remotely against Bush, they bounce up with anti-patriotism and anti-world peace and anti-G8 and anti-anti-terrorism. Hell, they've threatened to revoke one of the primary freedoms of the U.S. SENATE. THE RIGHT TO FILIBUSTER. Because it's the Left using it for their homoerotic, devil-worshipping means, preventing hard-working Haliburton employees from getting various federal judge positions. Forgot about that, sorry.

And, the Left for a long time has sat idly by, and only now good men like Howard Dean are standing up and saying they won't take the banter and crap from the Republican party anymore. God forbid we fight back.

So, I'm being a good person by going out and giving a couple of bums a buck each? I should feel warm and fuzzy, because I've... done nothing. Right. Or I can double that, and give them two bucks! Jesus, watch out. They might become Republicans to conserve their hard-earned money. Just like Mister Bush's friends - right?

And I am somehow better because I gave a whole buck (WAIT! TWO!) in comparison to the kid with four quarters in his pocket that just gave the same little girl three or even all four of them? Gosh darn, you're right. I'm such a good person. I feel really proud.

That said, you're right, it's a wonderful and great thing. Countries like the U.K. and other European countries are pouring tons upon tons of money into Africa. Of course, we're pouring tons, too - just not nearly as much. But we're America, they should be happy our worthless money is being put into their country. I mean, we know we can't back it with gold, and we're trillions in debt - but it's the idea that counts! Gosh darn.

You know, I'm fairly certain I've never said that to anybody.

Just look at your own language, thats all I'm suggesting.

I DARE you to say one good thing about the country you live in.. just one.

It's a beautiful place to live in - I love this country, and want the best for it and the people that live there. I love being able to speak my mind, even if it's against the current administration. I love knowing there are people who are earnestly fighting for what I believe in - people who agree with me that, in the Land of the Free, we should be free. I love a country so diverse that I am able to find all sorts of people - because if it weren't for people like you or Bush, I would not realize how truely opinionated I am, and how I can see past simple party lines when it comes down to my true friends. And because I love this place so damn much, I intend to go down kicking for what I believe is in it's best interest.

I'm impressed with your ability to insult people while saying possitive things. Because what I just read seemed to imply to me that Bush does not believe we should be free, and that the majority of the country does not know whats best for it.

I side with majority of the world when I full-heartedly agree with your analysis. Most of the U.S. is full of ignorant fools whom know not what is good for them. Or, more likely, their ignorance leads them to a peaceful death - but I cannot stand it when people seem so in love with their veil of false-truths that they refuse to give it up.
Daganev2005-07-13 02:51:40
Yeah, I guess the increase of democracy in the middle east, and the reduction of states with intent to harm others is a false-truth isn't it?

Egypt has no elections, Lebanon is still a puppet of Syria, Saudi Arabia had no local elections, the Palastinians didn't have thier first election in 60 years, Afganastan had no elections, Pakistan and India are still threatening nuclear war with eachother, Libya is still selling weapons to the black market, its all just a bunch of lies.

Oh, and I'm sure you recently saw the latest gallop poll which got a cross section of the 6 billion people on the planet and looked at what people think. I'm sure you know perfectly well the opinions of Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and North America. Mark one up for Truth!
