That's why you don't use the market, but make them go through you. And, in Lusternia, you need credits to be a practical fighter. You need gas to evacuate in a reasonable manner. Gas prices too high? You CAN get on a bike. But that's not necessarily feasible, if you live on an island or in the middle of no where or are evacuating farther than a few miles.

I figure 6K is reasonable based on money being incredibly easy to make, here.
In Achaea 6K was a *lot,* especially for a newbie, but a novice who knows what they're doing can probably get that out of a really good hour in newton.

But the novice who doesn't know what he's doing might very well be discouraged by such a price.

Then it's the guilds fault for not teachign him about quests and hunting right.... hell i made a mage alt as a mugwump and damn i was level 7 taking rockeaters...

Sure, but at that rate you'd be out of newton in four hours.

True, but it you were really keen on staying there you could deliberately lose the occasional ego battle.
...I'm just sayin', is all.
And you can take out anything that doesn't kill you in two hits if you're very careful and determined, Galatae. I took out a couple of rockeaters with a serenguard before I hit adept knighthood and using my newbie weapons, but it involved so much time and effort that it wasn't at all worth it in terms of either gold or xp. Since mages bash a little easier it might have been slightly practical.

I don't think that wiccans are all that much worse off than mages, but even with being careful, I could only kill rockeaters at level 25 with an elfen...
I need to learn how to kill things better, I suppose.

Yea level 7 because with there speed you can hit and shield before it kills you. Now sometimes you will miss the timing and get kill by them because you have low health but hey it's fun. Same with moose they hit so slow you can hit and shield before they hit you once.

I answered 3000, because there's simply much more skills to learn than in any other IRE game.

Well the point of buying credits IC isn't to get your skills all maxed out and stuff. I think it's to be able to acquire some credits in-game, use them, and notice a difference as a result of having bought them, giving the feeling your character is progressing.
