As it stands, if valek came back and fought, i believe he'd find things a lot more difficult. He managed to get really good really fastm while the rest of us were figuring out how to bash spectres and get refills.

Any people from that last, if they were as good as they are now back earlier around opening, would be considered great.

I think one of the good things about Lusternia right now is that, any two people on the top ten list, can kill any other one person on that list. For example, Narsrim and Terenas could take down Amaru, or Murphy and Geb could take down Kaervas... You can't really say that about Achaea these days, and from what I've heard, not about Imperian or the other one either.

Though we complain a LOT, there really is a decent balance at the highest levels of skill.

Course no one on that list is a Demigod yet either heh.

Look were those people are now..... One doesn't play anymore, but was still pretty good when he left, One is one of the best, and One is alright but not very good, and one is the worst fighter in Lusternia.

I like being able to say I was the best fighter in the ur'Guard for about 1 hour once heh....

Considering Valek and Daevos were in the 70 and 80 levels when everyone else fighting them were in the 30s and 40s, it was pretty easy for them do dominate anyone. I recall trying to fight Daevos with barely 1500 health as an Aquamancer and I died in 3 hits, it wasn't that he isn't good, it's just his opponents were horribly weak.

I didn't have the disembowel trigger! That's the first I've ever seen that skill actually come off onto me from someone hacking into my gut. You can go on and remind yourself of the spar after that.

Mind you, I've sat and just puella'd off 1.5k bleeding while someone attacked me. Puella restores 1k health to me and only costs 45 mana.

Yea, it's a good list and I'd say it's about right. The balance among the top fighters does seem pretty fair. There's also a few more good names that are just shy of the list and its hard to decide fully on it.

Munsia's the best Hartstone fighter. Yes, yes, I said it.

Terenas was a mentor of sorts to me in Achaea. He will always be considered the best knight in all of IRE. If any of you know Terenas in Achaea, you'll agree.

And I've beat Amaru before *roar* Wasn't easy.

Munsia is not the best Hartstone fighter.
The fact she can kill someone while teaming doesn't make her a good fighter.

Sorry to burst a bubble for anyone, but Arena fighting != best fighter either. So her managing to kill someone in the arena because they didnt have a reflex right doesn't prove anything either.

Munsia is a decent fighter, usually with the aid of someone else. If anything Elryn is probably the best fighter in Hartstone and he doesn't fight.

I'd have to agree, the few times I met Elryn in combat, he was a lot tougher to kill than Munsia.

Hmm, really? Elryn's far from bad but I'd say it was Sylphas. (Then again maybe I should try Sylphas again now that I have proper Druid triggers again. And yes, I know you can probably own me with sap, Syl. )

EDIT: Also Elryn doesn't have a system really so I don't know. Hmm.

yeh munsia's combat talent is around the same as stangmar's, sylphas and elryn are much better stoners, thaemorn too when he played

EDIT: in agreeance with thorgal, any time i've fought her, if i manage to get a paralysis venom off (so she can't run) she generally goes down like a $2 hooker
