Yeah, I'm sad Thaemorn gave up.
Revan2005-07-16 00:02:42
Thaemorn was alright. He relied on his demesne too much and didn't know what Chasm was However he was 50 times the fighter Munsia is and will ever be.
Malicia2005-07-16 00:06:07
Oh em gee. Do not deny the force that is Munsia.

C'mon, everyone makes mistakes once or twice.
(And how the heck can a dreamweaving Hartstone NOT rely on his demesne? What the hell's he going to do, dreamweave and stagstomp you to death?)
Revan2005-07-16 00:13:20
Hey, I'm not sayin it was a bad thing (well, the chasm thing was ). I respected Thaemorn as a fighter.
Ethelon2005-07-16 00:34:55
I believe I was the best Hartstone fighter if we are saying for all time. I was even offered the Champion position when I rejoined them before I went to Glomdoring.
Elryn is decent, but I would never say he is htat good until I actually fought him without running or without it being him in dreambody. Gregori, Munsia are decent also.
I'm sure if the Druids get a skillset like Psionics we will see more pop up and someone good appear.

I will be the best druid! PHear me... Once I get zmud...
Gregori2005-07-16 07:15:26
No offense to your fighting prowess Ethelon, but in all fairness you were the best Hartstone fighter, at a time that nobody knew how to cure a demesne, and Fury actually killed 90% of people inside a demesne.
As far as being offered the GC position when you came back, that is laughable as most of the guild was pissed that you were let back in to begin with.

Considering 2 of the 3 Leaders in the guild approached me with it and I turned it down shows you apparently don't know much of what was happening in your own guild Gregori. Aswell as the fact I've never used Fury. Shows you've never payed much attention to anyone but yourself and also I did say of all time, of course that would not count now, but in such a case it wouldn't be hard to out perform people like you. The reason most of the guild started hating me was after I turned down the position and pulled my stunt with Magnagora, before that everyone was sucking up to me.
Seems Ceres still has no use accept to make herself an annoyance.
Tenebrae2005-07-16 13:12:39
Do take this to another thread or pm's please, and Gregori, open your eyes for a moment and take in the world. Ethelon, please be more mature when defending yourself. Ceres, if you have nothing wise to say except for a random note, please take it elsewhere.
Thank you.
Thank you.

That's what everyone tells her everywhere else she goes; we're already one of her "elsewheres".

Hi, Gwylifar.
Did you have a nice day today?
Narsrim2005-07-16 21:50:29
On the topic of Munsia, I'd say she is far better than most people give her credit. As a furrikin, she can roll at crazy speeds back into the depths of her demesne while you try to chase her (and in a druid demesne with briar walls, it is extremely annoying). This may not constitute offensive prowness, but it does count.
Furthermore, I find it difficult to kill her as a Moondancer because my two options, toadcurse or raw damage, are somewhat hard to pull off due to treelife/treebane alongside her level 3 magic resistance and such.
I'd also like to point out that Munsia has very very few trans skills compared to people who claim to be her better. I don't even think she has focus mind.
-----
I never fought Ethelon as a druid, but I've fought just about everyone else including Thaemorn. They were 10x easier than Munsia because she plays defensive, and as a furrikin Hartstone, it works well for her in a similar fashion as how being a dwarf Moondancer worked for me defensively.

As some people have wondered what artifacts I have, I have no problem sharing:
2 artie pipes (someone needs to give me the credits to get a 3rd!)
brooch of tempest

Munsia's a pretty good fighter, I'll agree with Narsrim. She's not close to most the names on this list (although she upset Amaru a few times, not sure what happened there). She tends to rely on a very few tactics which she doesn't have much choice on since she's got so few skills... and no, she doesn't have focus mind.

Yar, Druid combat without focus mind is... a bitch, but I must say, for what she has available, Munsia makes use of her skills.
Also, the Amaru bit was before he got cleanse, I think.
