Careful.
The channel ops'll have you for overusing that smiley.
They're everywhere, man.

I'll be happy if you prove me wrong.

To be honest, the reason artifacts are so much less important here is that it's possible to forge 280 speed weapons, and there are no caps on speed.
Fighting someone like Terenas while he uses Niricol is fun.
Icarus2005-07-16 16:23:37
What's really funny is that people can always find things to whine about warriors, if it wasn't damage then it's speed, if it's not niricol then it's dulak.

Possibly this is because the whole thing needs an overhaul?
The knight system in Lusternia was bold and ambitious, but it hasn't worked.
Terenas2005-07-16 22:04:24
I consider Niricol among the list of cheap tactics, therefore I rarely use it. Knight combat here is ambitious, but also challenging, I had played a knight for over 2 RL years in Achaea, the knight combat here is far better, even with its problems. At least damage knights aren't doing no damage to a Mage.
And just for you Ceres-
And just for you Ceres-
Sylphas2005-07-17 06:09:01
Yeah, they just annihilate them instead. Much better, really.

Because Terenas is surely known across Lusternia as a damage knight.
Ceres2005-07-17 23:22:23
He's a knight.
Xenthos2005-07-18 00:12:08
And rapiers do little-to-no damage. Perhaps check his comment again- he is speaking of damage knights, not affliction/speed knights.

That was badly phrased on my part. In case you didn't understand, I meant at least damage knights are doing damage to Mages here, as opposed to virtually no damage, which is the case in Achaea.
Yeah, and I'm obviously very bias towards knights as evidenced by my constant posting saying that Mages need some more armor against physical damage, or that knights are doing way too much wounding to non-knights. Seeing as you fail to do anything but constantly try to nitpick at the smallest details and refuse to ever concede to anyone you are arguing against, I fail to see any sound reasons to post anymore on this thread.
You win.
silimaur2005-07-20 20:39:19
hrm i think knights here are much better then achaea i played one on both but i still think being a knight is hard especially as i dont have things like trans resilience etc..in fact the only trans skill i have is blademaster
Ekard2005-07-20 21:00:32
Ha! i have 2 trans skilles, Blademaster and Planar
And i love being knight here, as my main character on Aetolia was Luminar, i have played a Paladin there too, and falcons for knights is silly idea.
Fighting as warrior here much more fun. And its not just jab/jab/jab you wont win without tactic, and each warrior can have diffrent strategy.
Warriors/kinghts here are cool, and now when you can take up to 4 specializations, dont metion about Serenguard and Ebonguard that heve 2 more specializations, so they have 8 specializations, what gives:
Paladins:
- Bonecrasher + Sacraments
- Blademaster + Sacraments
- Axelord + Sacraments
- Pureblade + Sacraments
Ur'Guards:
- Bonecrasher + Necromancy
- Blademaster + Necromancy
- Axelord + Necromancy
- Pureblade + Necromancy
Serenguard:
- Bonecrasher + Moon
- Blademaster + Moon
- Axelord + Moon
- Pureblade + Moon
- Bonecrasher + Stag
- Blademaster + Stag
- Axelord + Stag
- Pureblade + Stag
Ebonguard:
- Bonecrasher + Night
- Blademaster + Night
- Axelord + Night
- Pureblade + Night
- Bonecrasher + Crow
- Blademaster + Crow
- Axelord + Crow
- Pureblade + Crow
So this gives us 24 diffrent warriors!!
Add diffrent weapons and what you will get?
I love admins here!

dont forget that each of these types splits into speed or damage
Ekard2005-07-21 08:48:37
Exacly.
If you want to be a warrior/knight here you have lot of choices.
You can also take Low or High magic and diffrent tradeskills that also could help you in combat, better armour and runes on weapons and armours, faster herb balance and pore herbs in pipe, immunity for one poison etc..
Warriors here are damn cool!

Now I feel so happy about being a knight...
Though the levelling sucks like a Hoover...
But yeah, knights here do seem tons better...It used to be pretty much slash/slash with venoms on Achaea....
Happy there's much more tactic and know-how needed...

Isn't asking someone to be your protege just for the sake of credits kinda lame? You should ask for proteges to help people learn, not just to mooch some credits...
