Furniture!

I'm not up on my commodities as I should, but are there enough comms in the game to handle the large quantities that will be required?
Soll2005-07-16 18:57:12
I'm having doubts if there are, yeah. fear.gif
Lisaera2005-07-16 18:58:22
Need to get your novices doing more comm quests then!
Unknown2005-07-16 19:06:28
Yea, we'll start whipping them little insignificant whelps into action.

"Squire, lead 50 sheep and 50 cows to the butche-- err the Light. The Light's representative for this is in Delport and has a big knife. He means well..."
Arundel2005-07-16 19:21:35
Don't forget to send hordes of them to die at the hands of rockeaters so we can get a few more jewels.
Richter2005-07-16 19:31:07
I see Kaervas already has an artisan cartel, but it is in the middle of it. Does that mean he converted an old one to an artisan cartel? Can we change cartel type? Can we have designs from one cartel, moved to the other, so that we can turn the current one into an artisan one? *huff*
Unknown2005-07-16 19:34:27
I highly doubt it, Richter. I wonder who has a spare clan they'd give me, just to save myself 500,000 gold... tongue.gif
Richter2005-07-16 19:39:52
I have one. *eyeshift*
Kaervas2005-07-16 19:57:09
My cartel is the city one, looks like we're the only ones to come up with a name so far tongue.gif
Aleron2005-07-16 20:00:50
Um.. are there even any commquests that produce metals?
Arundel2005-07-16 20:08:21
I'm guessing the dwarf ones.
Aleron2005-07-16 20:10:00
I can't see many novices going in and killing dwarves as simply as Lisaera shrugged it off as tongue.gif

I know if you kill miners (alive or undead) they drop ores - which can be given in. As well, the gold prospectors outside Delport drop gold ores.

I am unsure if influencing them with begging would achieve the same ends.
Xenthos2005-07-16 20:24:19
They're greedy. Can't beg from them, I've tried. (I wonder if that's a misweave? Otherwise you can only get the things by killing and becoming an enemy.)
Unknown2005-07-16 20:25:29
I hope that is changed - the general inability to bash/quest for metal comms otherwise is going to be extremely, extremely annoying.
Gwylifar2005-07-17 02:08:15
All right, so I want a hammock that works as a rocking chair (not a bed, though maybe it'd make sense either way), and also a brazier that works as a chandelier. Let's see, what else... I can imagine Trader Bob is going to get requests for an Arcane Dolly of U-Haul for moving furniture.

So, here's a question. Everyone whose guildhall already has lots of furniture in the room descriptions, do we have to also go build/buy the matching furniture to bring the rooms up to their existing descriptions, or will we get those free?

Dang, I have such a long shopping list! This is going to be fun for the manse. smile.gif

Sorry, no free furniture. I would be willing to change the room descriptions as furniture is added, however. Speak to your guild patron.

I have a bad feeling that I'm going to regret having an Archaic Library in the center of my guildhall someday. We're all going to end up bankrupted trying to pay for what we have always had! :|
