When people have to deal with all of the frustrations that an online game is possible of dealing out, what do you do to relax?

If I become just a little upset, I go for a run. If I'm mildly upset, I, for once ina long while, dust off the weights and lift. If I'm really, really verge-of-tears upset, I'll probably play with fire and hot wax until I calm down.

I log into the game, and start plotting my revenge.

LOL. You get upset alot dontcha Soll *tease*
As for me...music helps when I'm just a little bit upset. Loud noisy anti-nice music (manson's great for that).
If I'm very upset..I go lie down, get a book, and immerse myself in a world where I'm NOT surrounded by idiots. I feel much better after an hour or two *sparkle*

Unknown2005-07-18 20:50:33
Lemon sites.
Arundel2005-07-18 21:49:39
I play Xbox games (Halo 2 on Xbox Live, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell: CT) or, if enough of my friends are around, go down to the woods to have a little airsoft plinking skirmish.

I go polish my car, does wonders.
failing that (if its already been polished) I go for a drive, find someone to race, find a nice quiet suburban road and do a massive burnout
yes I'm a hoon

I think I might have to take what I've learned from my aussie brother, and apply it the next time I'm bored.
1. Drive fast and act like a "hoon"
2. Beat up some "tossers"
3. Go "smash a box"
I think we'll be good after that.
Murphy2005-07-18 22:48:50
well firstly you are talking about something to get away from the tossers (wankers)
secondly you'd be surprised how much a good burnout does for your state of mind, especially when you can take pride in thick, black tyre marks and rubber burnt onto the road for at least a month as you drive by.
Thirdly, smashing the box is far greater than any possible activity....ever

I log off and play whatever game I'm playing right now (Bloodmoon, currently)
Unknown2005-07-19 01:22:29
What does the metaphor 'smashing the box' mean???
When I'm upset I like to yell, insult my brother, and basically use other people as pin cushions. But that doesn't happen much and I'm very content and nice a lot of the time.
OH but if the source is from the game... well firstly log off and... continue with your real life while thinking nasty thoughts about the person that was bothering you.

I usually go sleep. I'm always tired, so sleep is a good solution for just about anything.
