So your point is that only guild skills should be consideres when balancing guild skills(also known as the large bulk of offensive skills). Curious though, is your utopia a game where its impossible to kill people who trans more than guild skills?

Edit: I tested AmputateArm and it seemed fine to me, but then again I tested it with both arms amputated.

I'd love to see resilience and combat just go away entirely, and balance around that. You shouldn't have to trans two extra skills to have a chance against a decent warrior.

Let's look at it this way.

Focus body is roughly 4 seconds at inept, around 1 second at Trans, roughly 2 at Virtuoso (Focus Mind). If someone is hitting you with a katana, that means he is not hitting you for any damage at all, period. If they are hitting you for 1300 damage, that means they will have to do that every 5 seconds roughly.

Any decent fighter will have at least up to insomnia in Discipline, which pretty much reduces your focus body time down to around ~3.5 seconds. And of course you're not taking into accounts rebounding, if you bother to smoke rebounding every 6 seconds. I really don't see any problems at all here.

Shake. I took 500 damage from Thorgal's katana, someone without fullplate will take more. As for razing, they can then just cleave and a fast race will still put them in check with continual paralysis, even if they get a small time frame outside it- what're they going to do then? Run before they get locked up again?!

Sorry for the delay but it took me a bit to forge a appropriate testing claymore. My runes were also removed from my broadswords, since that was a oversight from a transfer, so this is a no artifact test. Also it must be noted that Rakor had no regeneration at all, so this test was as accurate as I could make it. Anyway here is it, a more thorough test of 2h vs 1h damage.

I was talking with Thorgal about the damage reducement cap, but I thought it'd not be possible to screw up in reality in the game, but maybe I was wrong - while the wounding seems correct, being some 50 above the claymore, that's really odd it's more in damage than the claymore. Didn't Roark state somewhere that only 50% damage could be reduced, perhaps this formulas been violated somehow with two handed weapons in some way?

Actually, Daevos is suggesting for a CHANCE to stun, not guaranteed stun. Kinda like Troll Monks, I guess.
