Not many people do. However, Bugs Bunny was often heading there - that, or Pismo Beach.

For further explanation (as I see they went a bit more in depth with it). There is a cartoon show where Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are heading to Pismo Beach - however, they took a wrong turn at Albuquerque (Pronounced Al-bah-koi-key, if my memory does serve). They stop at an arabian cave, where they find a very angry man, most likely Muslim. He wields a scimitar. Inside, they find quite a bit of treasure, and a lamp. Inside the lamp is, of course, a genie. It's been a long time since I watched B.B., so much of the Cartoon is lost to me. However, I do remember Bugs Bunny going "Open Sesame!"

Bugs Bunny eventually gets to Pismo. Once there, he finds a clam. Inside, a pearl. Daffy Duck (standing about half an inch tall) grabs the pearl and repeats the infamous rant "MINE MINE IT'S ALL MINE MINE AHAHAHAHAHA MINE MINE AHAHAHA MINE MINE IT'S ALL MINE ALL MINE MINE MINE..."

I saw that one. But I was like, 5 at the time, so I don't remember the Albuquerque bit.

I mean I don't remember them using the word. It looks more like it should be pronounced "oll-ber-kerhk" anyway.

Albuquerque is a city in New Mexico I think. Al-bah-koi-key is the way bugs bunny says it, but weird al sings it 'Al-bah-ker-key', so who do you want to beleive?

Yea, its the capitol, or at least the largest city. It's pronounced Al-beh-ker-key, unless you're from new york, or bugs bunny I suppose...
