You could always donate that much worth of apparel to the wyrm... it's rather barren in there. I haven't even gotten around to getting any kind of desk or cot in my office. Not even a chair!

Donations for advancments is kinda lame

It's a merchant path. 20,000 in items, then 30,000, then 40,000, which are sold to further the guild's agenda. There's a power path, which is power donations (is that lame, too?), and a fighter path, and a knowledge path. Excuse us for not shoving everyone into one narrow definition.

well Guild advancements should be earned for hardwork. Power is hardwork. Fighting is hardwork.. gold isnt THAT hard... especially when you have richter for a fiance

And that only gets you to GR4, after which you need to have a mix of all of them to advance. Ooo. And besides, Richter is broke. And gathering that much gold for a novice is hard work... and it can't be raw gold, it needs to be items worth that much gold. Which makes it a bit more difficult- you need to spend the time learning how to craft, or spend time finding large amounts of good deals from all over.
