Joam is a Pretty Nice Guy™ and has that sort of noodley sense of humor that he can't resist using when he thinks up the "perfect" zinger (often actually a groan-inducing pun) but this is probably just because he is young right now. He used to be a citizen of Celest, but could no longer tolerate the behavior exhibited nor atmosphere promoted by too many of the characters there*, so he left and eventually joined Serenwilde and the Spiritsingers where he is much happier. He is not a particularly exceptional combatant, but combat bores him--and me--so he spends more time just "hanging out" or doing simpler things to help out that don't involve hurting people or things. I still send him out around the mountains to collect bards and scholars from time to time.

Also, he is looking for parents. Please be from Serenwilde, but if you can convince me (not Joam) that being from somewhere else involves less annoyances and more interesting RP opportunities other than "oh no my parents are from elsewhere oh wow i feel so much angst" then that may be acceptable as well. This will be especially hard if you or your family are from Celest or Glomdoring.

As for myself, I am a Pretty Nice Guy™ and I have a better sense of humor than Joam, I think. Also, I apparently sound (and look? One can only hope) like Snagglepuss. I am not sure what to think of that, really, so I don't think about it. Please be Joam's parents. He would like to get to know more of the commune and he is so ronery without a family. RPing finding each other would be wonderful.

*Yes, I know there are some Pretty Nice people in Celest, but it seemed much too much like I only had the chance to associate with the jerks.

EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that I expect no credit/gold/etc. handouts of any sort, and really didn't realize that there were people who did expect credit/gold handouts from their family. I mean, feel free to give Joam things if you want (nothing contagious please) but it will be treated by me as the pleasant surprise that it is, not something to which Joam is entitled.

Yamori and Ried got reengaged a few days ago so I've started hunting down looking into potential kids, because Ried wants a large family (...or a small one, if you compare it to the Talnaras and Mes'ards).

First and foremost, you must be willing to take on and keep the Nimaet name, because if you don't, your grandmother Dylara (Matriarch of the Iron Fistâ„¢) will hunt you down and guilt trip you into changing your mind. That aside, your mother will be quiet, polite, and will always be around to help you out - because I've given up combat in exchange for RP, because I like that sort of thing. Your father, on the other hand, is very combat-oriented and most likely will be fleeting in your life. After all, there's Astral and the UV to clear out. But on the plus side, you'll always have an excellent hunting partner.

Race doesn't matter, but you have to be no more than 23 years old at the writing of this post. Affiliation is naturally with Serenwilde unless you want to be the odd one in the family and hail from Celest. I don't mind, though; odd children are always interesting. And take note that you will be distantly related to the infamous d'Murani house through your father unless he gets kicked out.

If I remember correctly, I was not guilt tripping, in fact, I let it go and said you'd best do what you want and if there was problems with the d'Murani don't come to me about 'em.

Alysi is looking for parents. He is a 31 Year old Krokani, but his past involves him being abandoned by his mother (due to torture - long story) and being raised by another family.

Parents are preferred to be from Celest or Serenwilde. Either Krokani or basically any race other than Viscanti (parents' race determines the second half of his past).
