I may be jumping the gun a little bit here, as they're not married yet, but Miciah and Aeral are seeking children.

Aeral has been GM of the Aquamancers for about an IC decade. She's an aetherpilot, in Lady Terentia's Order.
Miciah is currently GC of the Aquamancers.

Huge family, grandparents would be including Tau and Janalon, Haiden and Lyria. Your sibling would be Malikie so far. (I think that's his name >.<)
Miciah is a Llaewell, Aeral will be taking the name. Aeral is currently an Ama'nar'isil and is related to the Dekovens, Dawneyes, and essentially everyone in the basin in some way, either by blood or legally.

-other races are fine, though!

Due to an inability to find a 'Looking for Parents' thread, I'm posting here in hopes that some parent will find me. Please forgive me!

I'm looking for a parent for Kolibri, a Nekotai.

Some notes about Kolibri's background - she was in Serenwilde, but is now in Glomdoring. A set of parents that used to be in Seren but are now in Glom would be a plus, but definitely not required.

Ko is a trill, though race isn't an issue for her as far as her parents go, and she's 16.

If you have any questions or comments for me talk to me in game, via message or whisper! I'd really like to have access to the family system before Ko gets married to someone (hopefully, eventually *starry-eyed*). I'm not yet at 75 IG hours, but i'm getting there quickly - (I'm at 57, and Ko is about a week old. Guess who has no life!)

As for me, I'm a very active player, so expect Kolibri to be a regular presence in your family, with the exception of prime time 3 nights a week, when i'm raiding in WoW, because I'm horrible like that.

The Skyplume family is Hallifaxian, and is primarily trill, though any race is acceptable for adoption. The family's number of actively playing members is pretty tiny right now, but I am attempting to change this. So please, don't disappear if I adopt you. In addition to all the other wonderful stuff, we've got a manse with a copse and a corral, for those of you who are enticed by shiny things.

Now that you mention it, I actually have heard of the Tasmanian devil transmissible cancers... not enough variety in the gene pool. The other two, I hadn't. The dog one is actually rather more interesting given the larger array of genetic variation amongst canines. And the cancer itself all shares the same DNA even though it can vary differently from the hosts'. Very strange that the immune system doesn't do anything about it (my understanding is that this is how cancer does not normally transmit, the cells are rejected by the immune system for being too foreign).

I'll just have to amend it to; I've never heard of transmissible tumors in humans, the general group one would normally associate 'humour' with. Alas, that makes it so much more cumbersome.
