Hello I am a returning player. I played Lusternia in the past but never did anything special if I recall correctly, I think I stopped playing right after I passed novicehood..

Well I am making a comeback and will plan to stay active this time. I have still not created a character because I want to find a family and a roleplay environment to enter straight out of the tutorial. I will be willing to be of any race, commune, city, guild, or order. Please message me with offers in the forums or post them here. I will probably check this thread twice a day.


I will also be willing to explorer different roleplaying lifestyle for the character so if you want your child to be an artist, combatant, scholar, politician, etc I will be willing to do anything.

P.S. I am not completely new to Iron Realms. I was quite active in aetolia but quit after the game became overrun with immature players.

If you think you'd like playing in Hallifax, consider the Shevats or the Skyplumes. Shevat is an historical family with a focus on science, though I am willing adopt people with any sort of interests. I am looking for children that have the drive to succeed in whatever it is they decide to do. Skyplume is more focused on the arts, but they do have one prominent scientist. I think Phoebus is looking for kids and spouses for existing kids, but you'd need to ask her about that.

hallifax seems like a nice enviornment I like the science theme aswell might really look into that. Thank You!

On this note, I'm also in the business of sniffing out children for Skyplume. Must be a member of Hallifax, trill race is preferred but not wholly required. A high interest in artistic "stuff"
would be -wonderful-, but I may give a bit of leeway to the dedicated science-type. Roleplay is a must, preferably...well...someone who isn't terrible at sticking to their role, and won't
run away from good opportunities.

It would also be helpful to not have a stigma against having two daddies. That is all.

Nope, once you choose who your parents are, you can't be adopted by anyone else. Marriage is still on the table though.

Stratas and Nicholo have finally gotten married and are now seeking more Nightshade children. Right now they're considering Vaelle, and hopefully Arkae if and when he comes back.

But otherwise, Nightshade children are to be born!
-parents are elfen and trill, so those two races are a big plus! Trill are in demand, Stratas needs one of his kind. Not sure what the preference for children are, racially. Might ask Stratas.

(Note: Most of the time, you'll be RP-ed as a blood relative, as actual non-adopted children, unless you prefer adoption. Nobody start picking at how it's possible. Fantasy world, I'm sure I can pull something out of a hat about souls splintering and the whole reincarnation business, especially if their race isn't the same as the two parents. )

-both parents are Harbingers, so if you are, that's great. Though a Shadowdancer would be nice, I can make you our Penumbra-chine.
-as a child of a Nightshade and Shee-Slaugh, the Wyrden gentry, there's a level of decorum expected from you, though mostly in public. The immediate family is quite lax and caring, though you are expected to know how to act in public.
-As a Nightshade, you will never, ever, ever leave Glomdoring. Or else you will be hunted down, like for real. I was lucky Astraea let me back in, I like to think, after leaving.
-the families are also very Nocht and Mother Night oriented, so those would be great pluses! Though one father is a follower of Viravain, the other Lyreth.

Not sure what else to put there, so time for the Pros and Cons!
Pros:
-Nicholo=Alechemist, Stratas=Herbalist. If not free, really really cheap prices.
-We have a budding family manse! You can get a room there if you like.
-They spoil their children, but shove them away to let them learn their own things.
-Nicholo is a burgeoning combatant and debater, Stratas is a history buff. Two sides of the spectrum of knowledge!
-They're very active, around a lot, normally.
-You have cool siblings, Vaelle and Arkae!
-You're related to the Shee-Slaugh and Nightshades! Lots of cool opportunities there.
-You're related to Astraea! <--- awesomeness, what got me to start playing again.
-Lots of RP. Sometimes too much, but just tell us OOC and we're cool with it if it gets into the ArghPee zone.

-You can't leave Glomdoring, ever.
