Well, he wasn't walking around saying "help me figure this out!", he was waving it around saying "look what I have!" How am I supposed to know there's a significance to be found? Kalo's the type who might find a shiny stone and run around saying "look what I have!" waving it around for a month. That's why no one else figured it out, most likely.

Everyone totally underestimates Kalo. Everything Kalo does has a purpouse. A much, MUCH higher purpouse than, say, licking himself. Like cats. >.>

I find it amusing how Kalo is easily excited about anything (Munsia was and still is convinced Kalo made it. And when Kalo says Mother Moon, everyone assumes he's making crap up. Hah!), but Kalodan (Who never talks by himself on Prime, while Kalo rarely talk by himself on the Ethereal. When he's in/around Maeve's tree, he talks in first person superlative. Very interesting, but few people come across him there) is nasty and rude and mean about everything.

As for the hijack, I'm totally enjoying the split personalities, and the strangeness of it all.
