I was just thinking how cool it would be to be able to merge with our totem spirits for the Crow/Hart skillset. So I came up with the ability.

Syntax: Crow MountBond
Power: Costs 3 Power (Local Commune Nexus; would be Moonhart for Serenwilders and Glomdoring for Glomdorings)

By uniting their spirit with their Crows/Harts, a druid can bond its spirit with the Great Spirit. They become one being for a short amount of time and are able to see what each other see from a distance or from afar. The druid can also control their mount's movements but they must be in the local area.

-----------------------
Syntax: Crow Mountsight

Gives the druid the ability to see through the Crow's/Hart's eyes.
-----------------------
Syntax: Crow Kill

Gives the druid the ability to attack someone by commanding their crow's will to do it for them.
-----------------------

Bonuses: Listed above. Will be able to unite with their mount, as they leave their bodies behind and send their spirits into the mount's body. They can then move about the local area in the body of the Crow/Hart. By doing this, they can fly, leap, et cetera as if they were the Crow/Hart itself. This would, of course, drain immense amounts of will power and mana as they go about in the body of their Crow/Hart. If their willpower or mana runs out before they reunite with their own bodies, they will suffer damage to their souls by the strain they are maintaining to keep up the bond with their mount.

1. Could see out of the mount's eyes. For example:

Blacktalon Druid A merges with a gigantic crow.

A crow caws as its master's mind and its own become one.

((You send out your crow to a village recently revolting against its former commune/city. You can scope out what's there, who's there, etc, if they don't kill the mount)).

2. (iffy bonus) Can attack people from afar who are in the local area. This could also leave your body vulnerable to attacks. If the body dies, so does the spirit. We all know what happens next. "Pray for salvation" comes to mind for some reason.

3. Good for affect. You can make the crow talk as well, as well as the Hart, if you're serenwilde.

4. Good role play addition. Think of it. Who's more in tune with Crow or White Hart than the druids who serve them?

Whatcha think?

Can't you already take crowform/stagform?

Seems like a dreamweaving double to me.

Looks to me like it would be a primitive dreamweave, yes. And since all druids can dreamweave (your choice to take the skill)... I like the idea, but it sounds like a lot of extra non-necessary coding.
