2) You can't move things someone's already said in IRC, you request that they change Rooms, or be kicked (See 1)

It's become apparant to me and others that Daganev is no longer capable of keeping his position as a moderator, due to ignorant and hateful behavior - he prods, insults, jibes, and hates on other people, and when they lash back, and it is then turned into a joke and everyone begins making humorous jokes on irish, euros, whites, americans, and even myself, jokes he as well made, I cannot believe he maintains a position on the forums as one, despite his own personal attacks in various threads against myself and others.

I would just like to say, that I have no problem with the moderators what so ever. I am just deeply shocked by what I saw. I feel sad that we need moderators for this type of content. We shouldn't I shouldn't have to have a moderator protect me from the hateful malicious things that I read in that chatroom.

Oh come on, as much as I appreciate the work you all do, the only Mod I saw as totally sticking to a level field and the 'rules' was Elryn, and he stepped down because he felt he couldn't do his job well enough!

It's a sad truth that a lot of people on the internet forgot about the carrot and need the stick inserted into every orifice sideways.

If someone tells me they're insulted by something, I will stop immediately. However, until someone says that it is insulting, I'll assume that everyone knows I mean it lightly and that I don't mean any offense. If you're AFK and miss the chance to complain, just ignore that part of the scrollback and kindly let me know for future reference.

I'm amused that he cut out the thing he said that made no sense before the bit about saying it made no sense. Daganev, did you think you were catching us in the act of saying something embarassing by posting your log? Seems to me you caught us saying the same things as we say here (except maybe the oral sex bit, but hey, when it comes to blastron no one can make any excuses).

So now that Daganev has "outed" me for saying Daganev shouldn't be a moderator here, let me add my voice to those who were going to say it anyway. If you don't know what the job is about, you probably shouldn't be doing it. Now, I realize moderating an IRC channel is not the same as moderating a web forum -- which is more than you can say for Daganev -- but I think this thread is a deliciously ironic cap on a long career of dubious activity.

However, the "not going to be in IRC anymore" thing is interesting. I find it amusing that within minutes of mentioning another channel whose sole virtue was the absence of Daganev, we had about 9 out of 10 non-afk people in it, cheering. That's gotta hurt.

You shouldn't have to be told that racist jokes are insulting.

That's my views on insulting people over the internet, I get warned/asked not to.
I make a point of publically apologising, making amends, and not doing it again.

Way to use private message Bran... glad to know your a nice normal human being.

I would just like to say that people should not have to deal with this crap.. and since you guys make that chat room such a big part of lusternia, I would like something changed.

The aspect of the chatroom that is a big part of the game is not IC stuff, its Mechanical questions and stats about combat that people talk about often. Its also a nice place to talk to people who I would otherwise not trust giving my screenname to.

One thing I have to say, what I've seen today on IRC was awful and I don't particularly mean Daganev here.

I have yet to see Daganev harrasing or offending people (well maybe I was missing it so far, someone can point me to it then), while I've seen enough of hateful and spiteful statements on the channel today from many others.
