And a hell of a lot less satisfying.
Depends on what you're into. Some of us literature geeks think good writing is better than sex anyway

And Yrael realised he'd never look at a book without imagining it in swimwear ever again.

*nod* I agree... I found that I actually like the lit more than the real thing... *thought* that doesn't sound how I wanted it to... meh.. maybe I shouldn't explain it and just stop here. But.. you guys get the picture
another thought- It stinks when they use bad grammar and verb usage... and not enough descriptions...

My opinion is that anyone who claims to not like sex is either suffering from a tragic neurological disorder, or simply hasn't had good sex. I mean, the generic term 'sex' covers a huge array of physical techniques, emotional investments, and environmental circumstances.
Bad sex can be traumatizing. Good sex can be mind-blowing (in a good way). But just saying you don't like sex is really saying that you haven't liked the sex you've had.
MUD sex is no different.
There's bad MUD sex and good MUD sex. The bad stuff can be foul and horrendous. The good stuff, both exhilerating and theraputic.
I've used online fantasies to help more than one woman work through some pretty serious emotional issues, as well as to work through some issues of my own. The sex may be fake, but the intimacy and trust it can create are very, very real.

And here's me thinking there should be intimacy and trust before sex, of whatever kind. I don't think there's anything wrong with people who would prefer not to become that deeply involved. Especially that deeply involved with people they only know online when the feelings, real or imagined, can lead to problems in real life.

*nod* plus, MUD sex is a safe alternative to irl sex. Those who practice abstinance(irl), they can have all the MUD sex they want, so long as that's what they want... and that they feel like it's not real enough.
I'm still trying to decide on the who abstinance thing(irl), is it worth it? Should I wait? meh, I feel like a little kid but this is rather a big decision... well... at least for me- I've talked to my dad about it and he doesn't really care what decision I make so long as nothing substancially bad happens. My mom might have another opinion, but I don't want to ask her... so I'm asking you guys. Hope you don't mind.
edit: I know this is off topic, but still, it's not like I'm going to make a new thread to talk about sex... I'll leave that to someone else

If you're moving, sentient, female, and in Glomdoring, consider dropping Veyda a line.
Seriously, do we have any unattached women?
