But all you have to do is grab a few random "Romance" novels off the bookstore shelf to find out that while women (in general) do really like the wine and roses, valentines and sonnets traditions of romance, it's all just a polite veneer over physical and emotional needs that existed (and were being fulfilled) for millenia before romance as we know it was invented.

Even a romantic would do well to understand those underlying needs, or he may very easily end up missing the point.

His name is Pani.

Criteria:

Preferred races: Any save for Merian, Elfen, Krokani, Lucidian, Furrikin, or Faeling (Dark Faeling is different. That's actually a plus).

City: Magnagora

Age: Doesn't matter, preferably older.

Guild: Preferably Nihilist, though any Magnagoran or Glomdoring guild is good

Pani is a newcomer to Magnagora, having left New Celest and the Aquamancers to become a Nihilist. I've always imagined him as being in love with someone older, who has a goodly amount of power - Not so much political power as power altogether.

Pani himself is a Viscanti who has a gypsy-ish slant to him, and also has a deep sensual side. He's one of those "High maintenance body" types, who trains his body to be as sexy as possible so that he can walk around wearing as few clothes as possible. I hope to be able to found a family and have chillins some time.

Still sort of in the market for finding him a significant other. Though, I suppose to be fair, someone does seem to have designs on Lux again. However, it's a little weird when a friend decides to declare someone you hardly know is your boyfriend...

The only big things about Luxis that need mentioning, if you know nothing about him, I suppose are that he's Merian, and a sexy one at that. He's of more human stock than Merian, which can be probably be blamed on having heavyish familial ties to Delport. And also, he despises the Taint and it would take a lot of effort from a Magnagoran or Glomdoring that actually treated him decently to have a chance at changing his opinions. But don't let that stop you. Being seduced by a mortal enemy could be fun.
