I would not be surprised if Estarra and co. were tired of my ideas, but I'm going to summarize them all anyway. I think they do a great job, and even if nothing happens, we've gotten some ideas down.
1. Manse eject
This command lets you remove anyone in your manse, instantly teleporting them to the aetherplex at the peak. If you can manipulate space in your manse, you should be able to make it kick someone out. It would be a nice feature, and a little piece of mind.
2. Manse mobs
It would be wonderful to see some mobs in a manse. They would offer no experience (as some people think I want to sit in my manse and gain exp from my own stuff ), and would be fairly customizable. A system similar to the trademaster's submission system could be workable here, letting you set the descriptions, etc. I'm not sure how the "which rooms the mobile is allowed in/allowed to roam into" would work, unfortunately.
This could be for anything from wandering creatures, citizens, or more agressive/expensive guards.
3. The much debated pentagrams and alembics
I've already been told no on this, but hey, I'm making a complete list. We've found that Celestians can enchant in Magnagora, and vice versa, and I'd imagine that Glomdoring/Serenwilde can do the same. Allowing these in manses would not "destroy the economy" or do something silly like allow anyone to make potions.
Tailors, blacksmiths, jewelers, and cooks all have their respective items as manse artifacts. I'd like to see enchanters and alchemists have the same. Not to "get around" anything (I'm not sure what they would be getting around anyway), but so that they can have an artifact that allows them to make their stuff from home, just as the rest of us can.
4. Newsrooms, post offices and banks
I've been told no on this one as well. I'm not sure what the coding would be like on a bank, and its fine if the answer is something like "only established cities/communes can have them because of X coding issues", but if it is not... a bank would be nice.
Newsrooms... Well, what's the problem there? Shouldn't hurt anything, but again, I'm no coder, and only a player.
Post offices, same thing.
5. Additional artifact- water
We've established that the terrain for manses is "aether". I think by now we know we cannot get the terrains we'd hoped for. But can we have an artifac that lets us flood a room with water? This would allow you to scrub, and create lakes or rivers. Nothing like walking through a room you wanted to be flooded.
6. Make room regens visible
I believe a privacy gem shows something like "A feeling of privacy is here." Please let us see endurance and willpower regen? It would be wonderful if other people could know you put 100/200cr into a regeneration room.
7. Disable limitations on manse stores
I don't usually have time to stock my store to the point where this is a problem, so this is for other people, or maybe myself in the future.
When there are too many items in a store, WARES does not show it. Instead, you have to WARES. If I walk into a store and see that there are no health potions, I'm going to leave, not do WARES HEALTH. If someone wants to spend $300 on a store, can we please make it so that they don't get screwed like the normal ones that cost 1/25th of them? (1000cr for a manse store, 200000gp usually for a city/commune store, {1000*5000}/200000 = 25 )
8. Viewing exit points
I think it would be neat to see a command of PORTAL SEARCH. It would work like this:
3290h, 2800m, 2900e, 10p ex-portal search deepnight
The Aethercity of Deepnight has been connected to: Avechna's peak, Glomdoring, Magnagora, Serenwilde.
3290h, 2800m, 2900e, 10p ex-portal search cathedral
An ancient cathedral has been connected to: Avechna's peak.
9. Make door-making an artisan skill.
This makes it so that you don't have to buy doors from Bob, and if I understand correctly, the administration is trying to make it a more player-run economy. This would also allow us to have nice, custom doors. Naturally, They would have to find some way to make it so that there are several strengths of doors, like there are already. I always wanted a trapdoor or an attic door.
10. Let stores work in rooms other than the fulcrux, and allow for multiple stores
Self explanitory. I don't know if anyone would ever do this, but hey, it would be nice.
11. Change to concealment stake
Now that we can use a tapestry, I think less people will buy stakes. This could be argued, but it is my opinion. I think that either a) the cost of a stake should be cut in half (to 25 credits) or stakes should be moveable.
I prefer B.
12. Miniature cost
Okay, -this- one is just me whining, but, they cost an awful lot to just have a personal item of something that is available to the public anyway. 500cr for a forge makes me sad, considering I can use 3 of the 4 non-manse forges.
13. Astrolabes
I know They were thinking about this already, but it would be nice to have, for those that have astrology.
14. Benches in manses
Can we have a special allowance for benches in manses? The terrain is the neutral "aether" anyway.
15. Shrines/fix "does not work" message
Why can't we worship at a shrine in public? If a family was pro-Hajamin or something, maybe an order member could erect a shrine to Hajamin there?
Plus:
3290h, 2800m, 2900e, 10p ex-erect shrine
You may not do that in houses.
Needs to be changed.
16. Stables
I'm running out of good ideas, so I'll let this be my last one. A stable would be a manse miniature that lets your pets eat there, or something. I told you I was running out of good ideas.

Added to first post.
Funny that I added the part about pro-Hajamin, and He responds.

Not sure why Hajamin's quotes aren't working either, that's irritating to look at.

Okay!
MY MANSE WISH LIST!!!
1) water
2) disabling teleport and moonbeam into manses (auto monolith sigils?)
3) A manse detector to let you know when someone has entered your home if you are inside of it. manse alertness or something.
4) Making manses unable to be mage flooded tainted, or forested.
5) A way to give building and adding rights to allies. Sort of like you can with your shop
Oh yeah and with the addition of furniture, manse safes are sort of obsolete.... upgrade them make them so that nothing decays in them?

I still have absolutely NO clue why alembics and pentagrams aren't allowed. Especially with Glomdoring out, why the hell not? The alchemy/enchanting magic has absolutely nothing to do with the alembic/pentagram itself, merely the person who uses it, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't work in manses.

Adding those would encourage rogues in a way. Which is totally against Lusternia's policy and mindset. :-S

Not any more than a forge or stove does.

Not having alchemy, I don't know, but can more than one person use an alembic at the same time without messing up each other's product? If the answer is no (which I think it is, but not having the skill I'm not 100%) then if two alchemists in the same commune happen to get very large orders at the same time one of them (and their customer) will have to wait a long time, because it's rather unlikely someone from Serenwilde would wanna go to Glomdoring to use an alembic, and vice versa. I could be mistaken on that too though.
Or they could take turns...which would mean they'd both be waiting a long time.
But if a friendly manse had one, then both could do their thing at the same time without venturing into unfriendly territory.
That would be why I'd want one in my manse anyway (if I owned one personally).
