I can't seem to figure out what kind of wedding Sylphas and I should have.. our views seriously differ when it comes to things like Religion and the whole city/commune mess. Couldn't have a supernal do it, because Sylphas isn't all "lighty" and it would make sense for Lady Lisaera or Lord Hajamin to do it because even though Lisaera might be Sylphas' Divine Her views don't really apply to Joli and Hajamin's don't apply to Sylphas. I haven't seen a lot of weddings, but right now I'm drawing a blank..
Maybe Kidaen should do it..
Maybe Kidaen should do it..

Have a small-ish, private ceremony in a certain friend's manse, where certain rooms can be converted into whatever you want for a day or two.
And have Kidaen do it.

I'd prefer Hajamin. No offense to Lisaera or anything, she's awesome, but Sylphas is doesn't really like her IC.
Hmm. I'd be tempted to ask Shikari, just to see the commune freak out about it. -grin-

I think you're too hung up on which divine should do it. Having a god look over your wedding isn't declaring your devotion to them - at least not if your spouse is devoted to them instead.
I'd be more worried about writing a ceremony that you like, personally.

Actually, I'm more worried about affording rings.
Xinael2005-08-05 00:18:36
That too. Break out the credits, get some really cheap, and then get them customised/resetting. One set I had done even had the spouse's mark on it rather than mine, though it set to my inventory, and vice versa. Cute, huh?

Why not... Have Lisaera AND Hajamin do it? And have it at the mouth of the Moon River - a meeting of the Seas and the Forest, so to speak.

Ceromonies and stuff like that are easy for me though so it's just coming up with something that both of us like.

I like this idea. -pokes Sylphas to it-

*chin* I suppose that might work.

Still wish Shikari could do it..

Do what I did. Kaervas and Raezon were both on, so I was like, hey let's get married! no ceremony or anything .
Actually I kind of regret that . I wanted to be a pretty pretty princess.

That's what I did in Achaea with Ashakel. We just finished second in one of Clementius's riddles and when he asked what boon I wanted, I asked him to marry us right there. No preparations or rings, but we both got TFs for it.

Yeah, I did that on my first character on lusternia. It was -really- funny to me. I've never had a pretty in game wedding..
Sylphas2005-08-05 04:52:56
Teravell and I never ever managed to get Demeter to marry us. It was annoying, and then she went inactive and hasn't had enough free time to play IRE games anymore.
Sobran2005-08-06 09:13:17
Nyla and I can't get each other to stand still long enough to be married. We're too busy trying to take over Lusternia.

and she's not coming to Lusternia anytime soon, right?
Sylphas2005-08-06 20:11:10
Nope.

a star sapphire wedding ring
Dropped:
A wedding ring set with a star sapphire lies here tragically forgotten.
Examined:
Set into a thin pure silver band, a smooth sparkling sapphire gleams
faintly in the available light. A white six-point star blazes across the
deep blue gem, obviously the characteristic giving the radiant stone its
name. Adorning the bridal ornament are several tiny hearts that have
been pierced equidistantly along the surface of this elegant wedding
ring.
