As I've had the opportunity to say to a number of Moondancer types, we understand that. But someone's personality is different from their loyalties/duties/responsibilities based on their affiliation. We would certainly hope that everyone shows common decency to others, especially newbies, regardless of differences in affiliation. But just because I will (and have) helped a confused Geomancer newbie lost in the mountains straight from the Portal of Fate, or guided a lost Glomdoring girl (who was hungry... I told her to bond with Squirrel and forage, and lost without portals ... I let her follow me and walked from Seren to the road outside Glomdoring to get her home), doesn't mean I would sit down and chat with either one of them without regard for their or my affiliations. The only chance of being a neutral character is by first not belonging to any political area.

Just so you know, I agree with the RP stuff. At no time I'd want the others to compromise their characters or how they play the game. I was only pointing out the Tully philosophy, because it seemed some players or characters "got" it, and the others may not have.

All I want to do is make sure my character doesn't annoy the majority of the //players//, unlike some of the others.

Quite often I see used powerstones, newbie clothing from intro or empty vials near decaying lying on the ground in random places. Also, some give their unneeded stuff to mobs. I kill some creature or denizen and BAM... dumpage.
And, with acquisitio, you just pick up this stuff, it's annoying.

I think that's because some people don't realize they can put those items in their nexus. I didn't know that at the beginning.

Heck, some city leader don't even know that!

I guess everyone has their own RP and I'm not knocking it at all - just throwing my few cents in. At the moment, I RP my character as pretty neutral. The attitude of a whole city isn't the attitude of every single person who lives there. Of course, If I'm from Mag, I'm not going to invite someone from Celest over for tea and crumpets, but then again, I'm not going to beat him down verbally or physically if I just happen to bump into him as I'm walking down the highway. If my character was to meet someone from an opposing city she'll be a little suspicious of them but she won't do act on it unless they give her reason to.

I forgot what Phred posted about his character already, so I'll just say this. And this is just an random example. If I were a bad guy and I met up with neutral character who just happens to live amoung the good guys, I'd jump on that RP opportunity to try to convert him to the darkside, use him as a spy or whatever my evil mind could think of. But, that's just me.

You'd be amazed that the number of places I've slept at is considerably lower then the number of times I've been engaged. Joli has only actually loved 3 people and 2 of those people used her, guess who the third one is?

Well in all honesty, the post was kinda stupid, and well i'm rather glad you've been enemied to both Wiccan guilds, though i'm not sure with the Moondancers, if any Shadowdancers turn up at this, there will be hell to pay, it mocks anything we stand for, but Bravo on your part, your only enemied to the guilds so far, just wait, i'm sure you can make it the communes in a while.

I don't mind the character Tully. As a player, I'm amused, but my character isn't at all.

We really need humgiis or something like them. There's no way I'm going to dilute the Pool of Stars with random trash.

I do like Tully, though.
