Now that Glomdoring needs live Fae as well it's quite a bit more balanced, which is cool...

So can we all get unenemied to Faethorn now?

Explain it for those of us at work?

I've changed the Faethorn quest a little. Glomdoring now needs to
capture live fae, just like Serenwilde. Also, Albion can turn a
honeycake into a silvery honeycake that can free the shadowed wild fae
in Ethereal Glomdoring. Likewise, Lhiannan can make a blackened
honeycake that will free wild fae bonded to Serenwilde. Hopefully, this
will help the RP a bit, though really doesn't change the quest.

Can't see it doing much for the conflict levels, although it'll even up the playing field slightly, especially now we have marsu running around graced to find fae. :/

This will be quite interesting.

Why won't it stop conflict?


Serenwilde hated Glomdoring because they had to harm fae. They no longer have to. As far as slavery goes if it is okay with QUeen Maeves, if she doesn't mind her subjects being slaves if she doesn't care why should Serenwilde?

What is the point in attacking Glomdoring now that they do not have to kill fae?

It may turn out to be a good change in the long run, but in the short run, its incredibly bad for Glomdoring. Since they all had to become enemied to Faethorn to gather fae, so now to get fae they have to find a cook, Since Butter will not make the cake for them, also the fae knights will continue to be hostile to them.

Because Serenwilde doesn't get as much power if we have Fae.

The Fae themselves begged to Serenwilde that they didn't want to be slaves to Night, if I remember correctly, so Serenwilde protects the Fae. Queen Maeve doesn't care either way, though.

Serenwilde hated Glomdoring for alot more than them killing the Fae. Enslaving the fae was just as bad to most of our eyes than killing them and the conflict started before they had to kill them. They didn't originally have to do so, that was a change that came later, and has now been changed back thankfully.

Fae Knights are not loyal to Faethorn, they are loyal to the Moon Spirit or Night Spirit (Whichover one is in control).

I just don't understand though, if Queen Maeves doesn't care why should I?

Maeve has thrown off her loyalties to Moon and is now neutral. You can feel free to seek to remove enemy status now.

I doubt that 100k+ each payment looks very appealing to Glomdoring.

Yeah, for a change of this size I'd suggest just clearing the faethorn enemy lists and starting fresh.

Looks like we're going to have to set back getting that arena, because it's going to cost a good 2,000,000 gold to get us all unenemied. Nayl, break out the coffers!

Guess I won't be getting mr masterwork weapons and my herbs, either.

Not to mention that the second we set foot in Faethorn to get unenemied we'll be wisped away and killed.

Have you tried to get unenemied? It won't be nearly as expensive as you fear.

I have 8,000 gold and inept influence. Let's see.
