Because the poem is there, and that is it. Capitalize it, and then it becomes a common use word, "No thank you." or "No, I believe that it is fine that way." lower case that word, and then No, because the colloqual word no, where that signifies something else is going on underneath the skin. no would mean that no, this can't be happening, or no. plain no. period. The period in itself is something else also, how many times in your life did you see a no by itself, or without even an !? With that, "no." is like saying to yourself, no. That's the end of it, no beginning at that. It is like Zen gardening, each stone means something else, each way it is placed means the way your karma will flow. Remove that balance, and you would be as ordinary as everything else in life. Keep that balance, and you will achieve grace.
