You are now wearing a small lemon-mint scented bead.
You squeeze the bead, causing it to break and release the scent captured
within. Dabbing the oil it contained on your wrists, neck and behind your ears,
you drop the tiny piece of empty wax to the floor.



She is a lupine lycaean and is mostly covered in sleek, ebon fur. The only spot
of her fur that isn't black is a silvery mark centered on her forehead in the
shape of crescent moon. When her eyes are open they shine with all the
brilliance of sparkling emeralds and the ever present glow of curiosity. Her
frame is a good deal smaller than her other female kin giving her an almost
child-like appearance and looking at her shapely form it is obvious that Iridel
can stand as easily on all fours as she can on two. Her floppy ears are velvety
soft and when perked can seem just a little larger than normal, almost making
her look bat-like. Her muzzle is short and proud. It displays a small, onyx
nose that is hardly detectable against the black fur. Small sharp, white fangs
protrude down over her maw. She has a mane of raven-black hair that is pulled
back into a pony tail and falls to her waist. Two long braids hang down over
her ears, falling well past her shoulders. Her small paw-like hands are adorned
with dark, shiny claws that are well camouflaged against her fur. Her fluffy,
long, tail swings out behind her, at times indicating her emotions. She is
wearing enchanting silver snowflake robes, a simple ring of silver, a velvet
moon pendant collar, a canvas backpack, a magnificent quadruple-banded wedding
ring, a pocketbelt, a woven gold bracelet, a lycaean tail ring set with opals,
a Prism Pouch, a silver choker set with black onyx, a scrolling silver and
amethyst pendant, a dainty blouse of deep coral silk, a short, deep coral silk
skirt, a stunning five-stone betrothal pendant, a singer's cleft armband, and a
refreshing lemon-mint scent.

Heh, nice, you can have scents. They do all kinds of curezeh stuff in Imperian.

I always used to give Indrani perfumes, musky ones, and candles of the same scent. Achaea had these. They were produced in a village (Cael Witrin or something), which was a gift from Scarlatti to Selene, a pronouncement of love.

The candles kicked, and Indrani always seemed amused by me. Heh, this one time, in this Arcanist's house...

That would show in paintings and statues, though, wouldn't it? Or do they have nothing like that?

Don't know about Achaea. I haven't logged on since... April? Feb? Nor Imperian. I know someone that went God there, so I never went. For the same reason I probably shouldn't have come here - that person feels the need to stop talking to me.

A pity, too. I thought we got along really well. Makes me sad inside.

Yeah, Achaea has had these for quite a while.

They also have lipstick, blush, and eyeliner.

I'm going to go on Achaea and make a crossdresser, then. Lipstick, miniskirt, eyeliner, a perfume... on a male Horkval.

I still think it's funny Lisaera thought she was wearing essence of bread.

Yes, Scarlatti made these a long long time ago. He tested some of them on me and I got to see some of the first male scents. Was really neat, because the order got all of that stuff before everyone else

Amused a lot of my guildmates that way there. Should have seen the looks I got when my perfume did the room effect.

I've been playing Imperian almost two years now and the scent beads is a fairly recent thing. It is horrible that they only last one hour though, sometimes less if you are close to an in game day ending.

I use to play DragonRealms and there were various shops where you could purchase all different sorts of scented oils and perfumes. And the more you added of a certain kind, it changed the scent on you. I would love to see something like that here.

Perhaps they'll come up with another (relatively) useless tradeskill, and put things like perfume, pottery, candle-making, toy-making in it?

Possibly put it in Artisan or something? Let us make up all sorts of cool perfumes - like Essence of Fart! Or of Bread, for Lisaera.
