Maybe it's just me, but all that has is black and leather. Am I just unlucky or something? The old JAVA client had like 8 backgrounds.

There's *THREE*. Black, leather, and normal or default or something like that.

Leather = default. It's exactly the same. Therefore I don't count it.

Aha! Makes sense.
Shiri2005-08-11 12:41:01
So how come it didn't make sense when we had the exact same discussion on page 2 of this thread?
Kaileigh2005-08-11 13:01:00
wow that's nice. I'm tempted to use it.

rRandom note, as soon as I sign on it. Marcalo raids and I run off without anything on a suicide mission. But at least I had pretty bars to tell me I died.

Mmm... *link nexus*
Ekard2005-08-11 16:47:14
Its great!

But, it would be much better if we could save/load setting/triggers/aliases/macros from a text file. This way people could make systems on Java. I could make simple one and give out to our newbies that cant do it by themselfs and are using java.
Vix2005-08-11 18:19:55
*cry* I think it's just me, but it seems to have horrible lagspurts now.
Vix2005-08-11 18:33:41
Lag is now so bad that I have to use MUSHclient to even get around.

I'd say it's a problem with Nexus.
Ashteru2005-08-11 20:28:45
Heh, I am able to listen to the gt channel while I am in the journey.
Shiri2005-08-12 01:38:58
Worse, a lot of my old triggers do not work anymore. Even my harvesting triggers are bust, let alone my highlights. Is there any way to use the old JAVA client? I can do better on that than on Nexus, at least until they get a new background and fix the bugs.
Shiri2005-08-12 11:27:15
Also for some reason occasionally I accidentally double click on something invisible near the bottom of the screen and I get logged out and put back at the login screen, having lost all defs and fae.

And I don't know what I'm doing wrong there, anyone know?

does www.lusternia.com/javaclientplain no longer work?
Vix2005-08-13 00:55:54
It's unsupported and I don't know what that means. I'm very sad that I can't use Nexus for more than five minutes without it having a seizure and lagging horribly.
Unknown2005-08-13 01:00:45
Ok, I don't know how to write up relexes for either MushClient or this new Nexus. I'd like to learn, but which is easier?
Vix2005-08-13 01:03:30
I'd say Nexus since I'm having to use MUSHclient now that Nexus is acting stupid. There're all these weird symbols and such in MUSH.

Not sure if its what your talking about, but that might be the regexp matching, which whole extremely powerful for reflexes and other scripting, can be a real pita to learn to use right
Thorgal2005-08-13 17:10:03
Nexus is a lot easier and user-friendly than mushclient, but obviously mushclient offers more complex scripts.
Unknown2005-08-13 20:37:44
Sounds good. I think I want something simple anyway. Thanks.
Vix2005-08-14 02:46:11
So Shiri helped me figure out that the problem was that I didn't have the current Java. tongue.gif

And now my only complaint is that when I click randomly on the border someplace it logs me off sometimes. sad.gif
