Back when I was in Celest, there was someone who was bloodbonding someone in Magnagora, and IC it was brought up on CT. In the end, people who had complaints were pretty much told 'Shut up, you can control who you marry but you can't control your siblings', if that'll assist you in your search (if things are still even that way!).

Also, you need a wife/husband for kids, not just a sibling!

Where do you think I came from, I've gone to the highest levels of two IRE games before this one, then once I hit demi-ascendant in this one, I'll probably go look for something else. But not being able to be a single parent is bollocks.

It does suck, but it's good for gay couples who both want to have a child related to them. It does give people more of a sense of family than in the other games. Also, I believe with Achaea's system (not sure about the others). The first parent doesn't have to consent to the second parent adopting the child. So basically that "easy freespirited roamer" could be someone you hate. I didn't like the system when I first started, and it's not perfect, but I think this system is more fair for the majority than other IRE family systems (from what I know of them).
