I'm building my own Lusternia-type website right now (I'm bored). I was going to have stuff for the Carthans, friends, some trade stuff, writing, etc, and then I started thinking about graphics.

Are there any copyright issues with using Lusternia graphics from the site, like backgrounds or other pictures?

I know some games have a fankits that you can download with graphics and such. That'll be cool if we had something like that.

of the owner of the website unless otherwise stated.

Generally, places won't have to much of a problem with copyright material being used as long as you note who it's copyrighted to. How they can get a hold of them. And just over all promote their business and site.

Not to many copyright issues come up on fan sights unless there is something like Richter claiming he started Lusternia and sold it to I.R.E. or something stupid like that. If you have a sight that just talks about the game in general, or your aspect of it. Most places will eat that up.

Push come to shove through a Lusternia banner at the top of it.

Actually, I did create Lusternia and submit it to IRE. Estarra got wind of this, teamed up with Matt, and I woke up a week later at the bottom of the ocean, wearing concrete shoes.

Interesting story there.
