I've been saying for a while that the fourth commune (the one outside the Basin mentioned in the Prophecies of Sister Lake) will be Sun/Cat since the druids from outside the Basin revered felines and were called Dawnseekers or something. Also, the Igasho tribe honours quest is all about summoning a Great Cat Spirit, though it's not clear if it is THE Great Cat Spirit or A Great Cat Spirit.
Lysandus2007-02-11 09:22:21
Wait, what about the other Cosmos they're talking about? Is there another comsic plane other than the 4?
Genevieve2007-02-11 09:23:17
The serpents came from a far away cosmic plane.
Lysandus2007-02-11 09:24:06
Well, it stated here they destroyed it... You don't think they were successful right?
Unknown2007-02-11 09:24:36
Awesome. I liked Little Sun. It made me think of a little boy harassing another little boy being told to chase a little girl. So adorable.
And I've always expected there to be more Great Spirits than just those in Totems. What intrigued me was the mention of lesser awakened spirits.
As for Amberle, it sounds suprising like what I would have done if I was in her position. If I even had the courage to be there in the first place, that is. If I had the impression that the major Heralds would be like those of the Third Circle, I would have tried to contact them as well.

There probably aren't just 5, either. There could be any number of the things out there. The one they destroyed and the one the serpents from are entirely likely to be different.

Amberle was a noob

There are countless cosmic planes out there, and each one was a créche for Elders. Our cosmic planes are only the way they are because Dynara didn't bother finished creating those ones, so they ended up half-formed.
Elostian2007-02-11 17:07:17
Not quite, Dynara created creches and put templates in them (seeds) these then grew and would either manifest a divine spark, becoming Elders, or not, becoming half formed.

Also, if the divine spark didn't manifest, the template/seeds became lesser creations, i.e., angels on Celestia and demons on Nil.
Regarding lesser awakened spirits, those are the fae.

I have a theory that Hajamin, Isune, Trillillial, Terentia, Raezon and Lyreth all come from Celestia.. they have wings and look really angelic... but then again, weren't Lacostian, Elcyrion and Xyl brothers? Lacostian had wings, Xyl didn't.. not sure about Elcyrion...

They came from a jungle as well, didn't they? Given they were trying to save tigers.
Interesting thing about that is though, that apparently the 4th commune doesn't have Wiccans. Wiccans should be the ones to follow Sun, while the Druids should have been following Lion, but instead, there is no link to Sun on Ethereal, and you had the Druids following him. And Wiccans don't follow animal spirits.
But I wonder why Lion would have a problem with Lake? Seems kind of strange for an Animal Spirit, especially a Lion, to want to destroy the Great Spirit of Watering Holes

I didn't get this "formation" thing. What does that mean?
Obviously you haven't played many RTS games?A simple formation would be Pikemen in the front, archers in the back, because the pikemen can melee better, and it keeps the archers at range from the enemy to fleely shoot as well. A slightly more complicated and useful one would be a box formation Knights on the outside, footmen next, and archers around heavy weapons in the center, the weakest/slowest with the most range being in the middle. Age of Empires 2 has standard formations built into it, so none of the massively complicated micro-managing of StarCraft. All of these of course are copies of real life battle formations dating back to the Medieval ages, Rome, and earlier. I love battle tactics.
Umm, here's a craptastical MS Paint thing I made:
The lines of power connecting them added to the fact that there are 100 in the first, and they're backed up by other rings inside essentially makes the whole formation into a solid sphere of power for a short duration, giving omni-presence a new meaning. all circles are gyrating on different axis and so fast that 1 god, in the outer circle is making a circular path perpendicular to his location in that outer circle. My hat goes off to Estarra for thinking up this wonderful formation.
Edit:Yes, I know there's only 32 dots shown in the outer circle, and an even smaller number shown on the other part, but I can't fit 100 in my little pixilated picture. I also know my cone is too tall, but I can't squish it much without losing the 3-d effect completely. For it to be accurate, my Amberle dot could only be ahead of the last circle slightly less then the radius of that circle.

Maybe it's based on the domestic cats aversion to water. Lions don't mind swimming, or other beings native to hot areas, but cold-based felines and most domesticated cats (in our area) dislike getting wet.

Hmm, no comment on Chocalate? With a jungle comes a new area, and with a new jungle comes Chocalate!!!
Also, Daath is a kabalah thing. It means understanding or knoweldge. I wonder if thats related.

If that's true then Lacostian and Elcyrion now officially lay claim to its creation.

Daath is sometimes reffered to as the Abyss since in some Sephirot it's not present

Because it was a forgotten Great Spirit that had an issue with Lake, and we haven't really forgotten Sun since we can still bond with Him? At least, that was my impression, I could be entirely wrong.
