Yup. Will give aetherbroadcasters (Market) and Illusionists something to do.

Fortunately I live in a country where shameless b-grade advertising isn't allowed. I cringe at most of the "look ma! I made eh commershul!" ads on american channels. The worst in my opinion are the black guy in the cape selling used cars. Between used car sales ads and Tony "the Hammer!" Shapiro ads, I think shameless is pretty well covered.

Instead of tokens make it minitures, like they sell in artifacts,
Have bob reveal the secret of the miniture spell to the artisans
so that they can shrink their furniture down, it would still be a token
it would just have the appearance of the furniture, then the owner
takes it to wherever and places it or whatever and it expands back
to original size.

Tokens are more realistic than shrinking and enlarging furniture (granted, it is a magic world, but...).
build token1532
A team of dwarves rush in and quickly assemble an iron-framed bed. The leader nods his head at you, and they leave as quickly as they came.

Yeah, the miniatures approach makes sense since it matches the precedent we already have. But I really find the RTA (ready-to-assemble) furniture idea amusing.
"You unpack the parts for an exquisite mahogany chair and frown thoughtfully at the confusing assembly directions. After inserting dowels into slots on part A and turning socket D with the special tool provided, you produce something that doesn't look anything like an exquisite mahogany chair. You reread the instructions and make another attempt, and assemble an exquisite mahogany chair."
Next up: get rid of those tedious ovens with Trader Bob's new Cooking artifact, the microwave!

My idea also makes sense, because that's almost exactly the text for destroying furniture. Miniatures are artifacts, so if we're going by precedents, I actually win.

Putting too much magic where it's not really necessary is not very appealing too.
Artifacts are artifacts. Expensive like hell. Furniture is not an artifact.
I stand by... RTA (didn't know it's called that).
EDIT: Besides, it's only about messages or perhaps syntax, general idea is the same anyway, be it token, miniature or RTA set.

Better than our furniture ads, we get some random z list celebrity or ex celebrity cheesily saying how excellently valued and comfy their furniture is, and banging on about the sale they have on that isn't actually a sale because it's been on sale since the place opened.

I wanna hire Kidaen now to do my ads.

I'm not adverse to the idea of 'tokens' except insofar as it's hard to imagine the RP for it. Do you build it in a special warehouse, and the token sends delivery people to drop it off at you?
However (there's always a 'however'), even that would require a bit of coding. Some projects have been pushed aside far longer than I wanted (mostly because of books/library) and it simply is a matter of priorities.
Feel free to bump up this idea in a month (or after the next big release) to remind me about it.

*seductive female voice* Come to (stupid furniture store name)! Your bedroom *shows empty, beat-up looking room* could become this! *fades into same empty room with a good coat of paint, polished floors, and furniture* Your dining room *shows original room at a different angle* could become ~this~! *fades into same room with a good coat of paint and some furniture*
Stupid
