I'm working with a couple people on family history, and there's one thing really stumping me. Has it ever been decided how many years have passed from when the Taint was first released in the Basin to present time? The minimum it has to be is 144 years (as Lolly wrote her memoirs 20 years after it happened, and 124 years have passed since Estarra), but I'm inclined to believe it was longer. The history of the Coming of Estarra is a little vague, just using things like "in time," so I'm wondering if it was a hundred years, a couple hundred years, or more/less than that?

I thought it was five hundred, but I now that I think about it, I have nothing to back that up, and can't remember why I've always thought that.

I'd really like to know the answer to that too. How many years between the release of the Taint and the Coming of Estarra. I've got a timeline of stories I'm working on and it becomes important in upcoming editions to know...and like Veonira, I've only ever found vague references to the fact that some time had passed....

I think a few times gods have said it's around 200 or so.
