Could someone please take a moment and explain how things work now with Faethorn? I've asked a few people now, and no one seems to really know how it works anymore. I'm pretty confused.
If someone might clear things up, that would be excellent. And please, no need to turn this into a rant or fairness issue....just hoping for some clarity.

The Fae return to Faethorn as neutral at the end of one term. They can then be taken back to Etherwilde and Etherglom with honeycakes, where they will stay, generating passive power, as long as they're safe. They can be removed from Etherwilde/Etherglom by raiding the area, and either killing them, or giving them dark/silver honeycakes. Not sure which. At that point, after a certain amount of time, they return to Faethorn where they may be lured back to either side again.

Yeah, at one point, I lost all interest in the subject, and filed it under "places I don't care about".
Though, if I understood how the place worked, to the detail, I might.

Is there any way of knowing when the fae are actually IN Faethorn? Or when they will be there? Is the only way to know by actually going in to check?
Are "terms" based on the date? How long does each "term" last? What are the benefits of actually controlling Faethorn now, if any?
Sorry if the questions seem stupid, but I'm done making assumptions.

You go round and see if the Fae are in Faethorn to know, that's the only way to be sure. You can work out when they'll be there by knowing when Maeve declares the 'term' over. I think each term is 5 months (I remember hearing that somewhere, not sure on accuracy).
Not sure about the benefits, actually.

Ok more questions then....are the fae going to return on some set month every year? Or will the reset be based on a variable of some sort, such as when they were last taken? And how will the time it takes to gather them all be factored into it if it is a variable?
